This is what makes his comments so ridiculous. Okay, sure, there is a "possibility." But what, 10-1, 100-1? I'd say the "possibility" is more like 1,000,000 to 1.

I listen to him on the drive home sometimes. Yesterday he had Ken Smithmier on, and Ken spoke very well on why Jimbo and Lincoln Riley would both be foolish to leave their current schools for LSU.

That tiny sliver of probability, along with a big dose of wishful thinking, keeps the rumors chugging along.

Don't get his show or how finebaum even became popular. Reminds me of a old retirement show of sorts. The callers? Ever notice how many call from Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Louisiana. Seems 80% of his callers are always from these 4 states. Watched 2 shows and it got old quick.

I was watching his show when the New Orleans newspaper reporter said that Jimbo was LSU's top target. He said that the thing that would push Jimbo to take the job was tu entering the SEC... as if A&M and Jimbo are worried about tu hurting our recruiting and recent surge. Paul later said that he had heard from 'an SEC coach' that there was a likelihood that Jimbo would take the LSU job. Of course other SEC coaches will keep that idea alive, just to damage our recruiting. I don't think Jimbo is the type of person to leave a job without good reasons. He had those reasons at Florida State, but A&M has given him everything he's asked for. I also don't think he would be pulling in the top recruits that he is without assuring them that he's not leaving A&M... and, if he tells them one thing, then does another, how will that dishonesty play with any recruits that he tries to bring into LSU?

Jimbo?

If anyone thinks that tu and OU joining the SEC will only impact TX recruiting they are either: 1) delusional or 2) from Louisiana. The new head coach at Lsu will not be able to guarantee any local recruiting advantage for elite LA recruits because they already are losing key kids to other schools and that will only intensify more with expansion.

NIL and Mega-Money are disrupting the entire landscape of College Football. Jimbo is a brilliant strategist, technician, communicator and culture builder. A&M, tOSU, Bama, Georgia, Clem are the new elite destination programs.

Kids will follow the coach, NIL money and facilities/infrastructure and their parents will lean toward smaller, college town atmosphere. Baton Rouge only qualifies for part of that formula and it's the least appealing part to the actual recruits,

National recruiting is currently and will continue to be the future of sport and Lsu has never been able to do that and neither did Mack Brown...both fan bases are where A&M ironically was around the early 2000s thinking they should remain relevant because they used to be.

Out of all the TexAgs resources and forum members is there really not one reliable source that could have their daughter or son simply ask Ethan or Keller what's going on? Kids know everything trust me! :-)
