I just listened to him a bit in the car and I didn't get that at all. He seems to be defending him staying in fact.

I don't know where this renewed LSU BS is coming from I only listen to part of the program but he's basically saying that he would be crazy to do it. Especially given the recruiting class he's putting together.

Ummm what? For the last about 2 weeks, including today, Finebaum has been questioning the people saying Jimbo to LSU. On the call you heard at the beginning of the show with some guy from Louisiana, Paul kept coming back to all he had at A&M and basically was saying, "look at what he has at A&M, I don't think you can convince me he's going to LSU but do your best."

Yeah for that first week, Paul was high on Jimbo to LSU, but since the people who KNOW A&M well, like the Marty and McGee's of the world have been explaining how special A&M is to him, he has backed down.

Paul didn't bring up Jimbo to LSU. He just asked the guy about the LSU coaching search and the guy's first name to talk about was Jimbo but Paul wasn't sold.

Some of y'all need to start listening and stop just saying you heard what you expected to hear. Paul has been on the "Jimbo stays" side of this argument for a couple of weeks.

You're absolutely right. The reporter on the phone was saying Jimbo goes to LSU and Paul was politely disagreeing.

Jimbo is going to use the LSU thing to negotiate pay raises for Elko and company, lock them in for a few years. He ain't going anywhere.

Yeah, they are different.

• NCAA investigation that LSU is concerned enough with that it agrees to pay Ed O all $17 MM so he will not offer to cooperate in the investigation;
• Kids hitting the transfer portal and sitting out the rest of the season;
• recruiting class falling apart; and
• LSU will be fortunate to get to any bowl game.

Now I KNOW it's not true. NO ONE loves Louisiana.

I'm watching him now. He strongly believes jimbo is staying in Aggieland. He basically said it would be stupid for Jimbo to leave. He also complimented his time last week in CS. He's beginning to make a turn Guys!!

So odd that people can believe that. We've been "relevant" for a long time and given A&M's resources and support, we are only increasing our "relevance" in college football.

Of course, I don't think that Louis REALLY believes what he said--methinks he is dismayed that his favorite team, whomever that may be, is facing a growing threat to its football standing.
