Just out of curiosity, how did Kyle Field today compare to the bama game?
The DJ has found a groove this year. I think he got the green light to do his thing.Duckhook said:
Despite all the hate the DJ gets, he got the crowd super pumped up after the defensive score. And this is coming from an Old Ag.

I think this game was louder than Bama. I couldn't see many empty seats.

I'm a 50- something suburban mom and I liked the DJ. But there were a couple of times when it was CRAZY loud. Like brown-noise loud. It didn't bother me. But I could see why some might not like it.
You do realize the sun didn't set until long after the game was over, right?jturner181 said:
Very loud… and something happens at Kyle field after the lights come on and sun goes down.
We were energized after sun went down… decibels was also very high…. Same as Bama game.
Embrace the slurs and the profanity...its now our identity!Alpha Texan said:The DJ has found a groove this year. I think he got the green light to do his thing.Duckhook said:

Anytime we need to get the crowd back into it like after a 3 minute CBS commercial break or a missed field goal, he brings the crowd back into it. He's really doing a great job. He knows the buttons to push and when to push them. After the Clemons TD, as the kickoff team comes out, he brings Power back and just refreshes the stadium into a frenzy, and I loved it!
I don't really get when people make that argument, I can hardly understand the lyrics of the rap to notice profanity. I also expect anyone who complains about these to avoid ALL tv, movies, songs, and literature that use profanity, and to never use those words themselves, lest they be a hypocrite.Spyderman said:Embrace the slurs and the profanity...its now our identity!Alpha Texan said:The DJ has found a groove this year. I'm so glad you were referencing the SP episode and not just having an old lady moment.combat wombat said:

To answer OP, I thought Bama was a full 10/10, no doubt.
This one was 9.5/10. The olds' side of the stadium wasn't up nearly as much as they were for Bama. Seeing Kyle so full for a 2:30 November game was a first for me.
With all due respect....You can EAD.Spyderman said:

I went for a run during the game (I've discovered the team plays so much better when I don't watch and it about kills me). Anyway, I was over by Consol during the third quarter and could hear the 12th Man. Pretty redass.

When we got the fumble for a TD it may have been the loudest I've ever heard Kyle Field and I've been going to games regularly since 1975.
