Texas A&M has informed Adidas that it will be extending their deal past the June 2022 contract end date

They've done what the majority of the fanbase/AD have wanted every step along the way, going back to the gray pants with stripes in the end of Fran/Sherm years, of course the double vertical shoulder stripes, and every alternate request throughout.

The super throwbacks and the 98 throwbacks were incredible.

And the current road whites w/ maroon helmet Jimbo sticks to are a top 5 uni combo in college football right now.

Agree. I love being one of Adidas flagships, they take good care of us and give the coach what the want (I'm guessing it's the coach) like how Sumlin got his swag uniforms and Jimbo gets his classy. I'm also a much bigger fan of Adidas apparel in general. To Nike, we're just another school, but Adidas seems to take pride in us. Personally, for some reason I like the climacool stuff more than dri-fit. The only major athletic gear that I've found that's sometimes better than Adidas, in my taste, was Under Armor but that was because they sponsored my HS baseball team and have kinda always been a bit of a baseball brand, I think, so that stuff was great.

All in for Adidas with me.

While we are on the topic, it bothers me when I see football teams wearing football jerseys and equipment with a NBA Air Jordan insignia. That is dorky, imo.

I think it may have been the sips wearing NBA insignia gear vs the sooners wearing Chinese Communist loving swoosh stuff.

it's funnier still that we just had that Turkish NBA center come out with a denunciation of China over Tibet. Nike has issues. Glad we aren't a part of that

The only school I'd be okay with switching too is UA but then we are following Tech, UA has quality products IMO

It is annoying Ole Miss gets the attention it does. But the woke Nike vibe is best for schools other than Texas A&M. T&F the deal was necessary to bring him in. And that paid off, too.

The gray shoes are boring. Give me A&M Adidas 4Ds or bring back the speed trainer 2. They've already got the Miami and Arizona States 4Ds. Where's A&Ms? I'd buy those right now.

Would loved to have seen us switch to Nike but Adidas has treated us very well.

I'm adidas back to the 80's
Nikes were terrible, cheap, nylon shoes that wore out after a month. The glued on sole would come loose so they'd flop-slap when you walked and the top above your toes would wear out so your sock poked through.
I got my first pair of leather adidas Phantom IIs and they held up for over a year. They never got a hole in them anywhere and nothing came loose. They just got that old-shoe look to them.
Nike eventually started using leather and a little higher quality products, but they're still inferior to adidas for comfort and durability.
