I love how all of us guys who make in the five and six figures annually get dazzled by the 7 figure annual salaries of HCs…

These guys are the COOs of a half a billion dollar industry….

The good news is… If Jimbo goes, we have the cash to go out and get the NEXT Jimbo…

It ain't the end of the world… There are other GREAT coaches out there… Just like 4 years ago…

I like your optimism but there is no other Jimbo (NC coach) out there to get:

Saban - not going anywhere
Dabo - not going anywhere
Brown - passed his prime
Ogeron - no way in hell

Jimbo is a fool if he left Texas A&M

LSU is desperate and we have a 10 Million dollar a year a job opening if that happens

Winning a NC does not guarantee another one

We will be ok either way

Yeah, we caught Jimbo at the perfect time. He was sick of not getting support from his department. He needed facilities and probably deserved a raise, and while he didn't "leave the cupboard bare," it was a low point for the program.

Jimbo ain't going nowhere!

Yep. The whole BCG debacle has made me nervous any time rumors start flying. I see the Woodward/Fisher connection, but it's not like they're attached at the hip or anything. Also, LSU fans have said for 4 years how bad Jimbo is, so why would they even want him?

BCG should not make you nervous. Right after BCG left, I had a discussion with a high level person in the athletic department at an NCAA event. They considered him a time bomb and did not make any real attempt to persuade him to stay.
