I think Auburn, LSU , and Ole Miss are all similar challenges .

You have to scheme for Corral imo. Assign you best defensive athlete to spy him perhaps ? If you shut down his running it will make it difficult for them to sustain drives.

Also control the clock and try to limit their touches

Just one? Auburn will be very tough. @LSU will be very tough for many reasons.

Problem with that is their defense is absolute hot garbage. Ole miss is going to get smoked on the ground, RTDB.
Push 3 have two float to cover, drop 6. They are going to score. But are we going to get points faster?
Also, SC is still a good FBT. Lets get over that first.

One thing I will say about Jimbo is he is like Saban in a few ways but this one is the most real.
You do not give Jimbo over a week to plan ahead.

Anyone know our record in games after a by week while jimbo has been here?

We lost to Arky and MSU. Just because we beat Bama doesn't mean we've all of sudden become world beaters.

We talk about the SEC west being the best in the country and we're only worried about one game? We should be worried about every single conference game left.

LSU may be the toughest out we have left. It will be on the road and I am sure the players will want to send coach O out with a win.

I feel that Bryce Young is a much better qb. We need to plan a similar defensive scheme. Contain him and keep him in the pocket as best as possible.

Auburn will prove to be our toughest remaining game.

Ole Miss is winning by the skin of their teeth, they will fall if we can run the ball and control the clock.

Auburn, on the other hand, has a running game and an athletic QB who, while not the best passer, will kill you on 3rd down with his ability to run. They also have some semblance of a defense. Harsin's offense is really creative from what I've seen, as well. If Good Bo Nix shows up, it will be a real fight.

Boy ain't that the truth. The easiest pass to throw and he can't do it and with our backs that is leaving a lot of yardage on the table. He should throw that pass 100x in practice this week. It's mostly just pitch and catch

Young doesn't like to run. He can but he doesn't. Corral is like
An extra running back. Seems like the prep would be completely different to me.

All three November SEC games will be tough, and the last two are on the road.

Auburn: It's a good thing we have a bye week before hosting Auburn, and Auburn will be coming off a tough home game against Ole Miss. That's why I think it is is our most winnable November SEC game. We are 0-4 against Auburn at Kyle Field, but I think we will end that losing streak this year. ESPN FPI is currently giving us a 59.3% chance to win that game.

Ole Miss: I think this is our toughest remaining game, and it is the only game we are not currently favored to win. It will probably be a shootout. Even if our defense plays well against Ole Miss' elite offense, we will need to score at least 31 points to win. Our defense might give up a lot of yards, but clamp down in the red zone, like we did against Alabama. I can see a 45-42 type game, hopefully in our favor. ESPN FPI is currently giving us a 39.0% chance to win that game.

LSU: A week ago, the LSU game appeared to be likely road win, but it is now closer to a tossup. LSU will likely be 6-5 before we travel to Baton Rouge. Also, it will be Coach Ed Orgeron's final home game, and that could amp up LSU to beat us even more. ESPN FPI is currently giving us a 53.8% chance to win that game.

I think the Ole Miss game will be tougher. We have a bye week before hosting Auburn, and Auburn will be coming off a tough home game against Ole Miss. I think we will finally beat Auburn at Kyle Field after losing all 4 home games to them.

I agree with you. It's a good thing we have a bye week before hosting Auburn. The Ole Miss game will be the toughest of the three games, and it is the only game we are not currently favored to win. Ole Miss reminds me of State except the Ole Miss QB can run. He's a good athlete. Young at Bama is small, 6' and 190lbs or so, so he's not likely to beat you with his legs. Nix will beat you with his legs and does just enough to beat you passing. When he's on he's on, you just never know. LSU will be emotional as they were against Florida si I'd expect a tough game. There are no gummies in the SEC west. You have to come to play week in and week out.

Auburn, Ole Miss and LSU will all be tough games, 50/50 at best.

I don't think our offense can score enough to beat Ole Miss on the road, unless Bama Zach shows up and that lightning is not going to strike twice, and not on the road.

I predict we will lose 2 of those games but win one. Hopefully we steal another to win 2 of 3.

The LSU game is going to be very tough, they still have good players and it will be Coach O's last game

If I had to predict the end of the season right now it would be:

USC - Blowout W
Auburn - Close W
@ Ole Miss - L
PVAMU - Scrimmage W
@ LSU - L

Pathetic.

Ole Miss has the worst defense we will face all year.

LSU will have packed it in at that point.

Grow some damn balls.

Depends on which team shows up. If The team that played Alabama shows up then we win all of them.

Being reported that Corral is questionable for the game with LSU.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
Ole Miss QB if healthy( hurt against Tenn)..is the best offensive player in the country . He can throw and run, they are loaded with backs. We will have to score 40+ to win this one. Kiffen is as good as an offense coach gets, and that guy from Maryland is improving a bad defense( 10 sacks against Tennesse) ….at Oxford, #12 Ole Miss is our toughest left

Corral has a rolled ankle. That could keep him out longer than just one week. Just said on Finebaum.
