Don't waste your time or money at #2 on the list Jack Stack. If you're near an Oklahoma Joe's (chain) in your travel zone, it's better than most. Or, go with Jones (probably won't make their operating window), Big T then Gates.

Joe's is mediocre at best. Jack Stack is great other than the service is usually pretty slow if you do the one by Union Station. Q39 is fantastic if you want non-traditional BBQ. I'd say it is eclectic but great. Their smoked pork belly on a white bean cassoulet may be the best overall dish in town.

Ate at Jack Stack on Metcalf, Burnt ends and beans were very good. Baby back ribs and pulled port just fine but should have got more burnt ends instead

Cafe Berlin in Columbia was a good breakfast as wel, went to Truman's for a sports bar and games experience after the win. Food was decent for a place that seemed more bar than grill

Did Bouche's. Best experience at an SEC venue in 10yrs. 140yr old place with 100yr old pool tables. Fantastic burgers cooked right in the front window. Mostly NOT college kids. Several workers sat with us and just shot the sh**. Great experience!!!

KC is just a cool town. Mostly brick skyline, so it just looks so much different than being in a Texas city.

Dads with money marries mom with looks equals good looking daughters. Missouri being the only major university in the state. No surprise there were a lot of damn good looking women there.
