I have it on good authority that considering the pre-plannwd rope-a-dope losses prior to Bama worked so well, it will be used more often... so no straight heads this week.

We did come back from being a touchdown behind in the 4th quarter with 5 minutes to go to win the game. That is just as impressive as the first half domination, in my opinion.

Jimbo will have them ready.
He'll impress upon them that a loss to Missouri will make the bama win worthless.
I'm really beginning to think we can win out.

Jimbo has already told them to move on the Bama win means nothing if we lose to Mizzou.

Bama game was over Sunday morning, they have moved on.

We will be ready, but we should all be concerned. We SHOULD be able to put 40+ on Mizzou and win the game.

On Finebaum yesterday Jimbo said that his goal is not only to fix the things that went wrong but also to reinforce and repeat what went right. Keep that up.

It was like watching the switch being flipped on for many of our young players during that game. "Oh, I get it now. That's why we do that."

Maybe not the best example but Bobby Petrino would get his buy-in from his players by going through the game plan and identifying the plays, "And then on this play we get a TD." And he'd be correct. Thereafter, whatever he told them to do they did their best to do it.

Watch the Monday press conference. Every player mentioned moving on and prepping fo the Mizzu game. Jimbo seemed to almost be annoyed that the focus of the questions were on the Bama win.

They'll be ready mentally and physically.

There will be more learning curve moments this year.

I just don't think this weekend will be one of them.

Jimbo preaches consistency, never get to high after wins, never get to low after losses and removing the clutter (esp all the social media nonsense...negative and positive).

But, while his experience knows this, he admits it's getting 'kids' to do that. Hopefully we learn Saban's way of treating all opponents that we need to do a beatdown.

I hope so. Just like last week when the shoe was on the other foot, we have to actually play the game.
