Not even worthy of top-third coach money... Jimbo isn't even an 8-4 coach...

But whey are you ignoring the pre Winston years?

2010: 10-4 (W over FL, Peach Bowl W)
2011: 9-4 (W over FL)
2012: 12-2 (Orange Bowl W)

5-1 record vs FL in those 6 years.

This is how it's done. Schedule matters too. Take the 2019 season. Name 3 coaches who get 10 wins out of that schedule..And what position did Jameis play on last year's team?

Dozens of youth soccer and baseball games without score being kept…. The $25-$50 gift card from the parents is nice

2-1-1 in U9 soccer this season
9-3 in 4th grade basketball
About .750 in church league softball (player) with 1 City Championship

I am not worth top 5 coach money either…. But I do have a championship tshirt to show for my accomplishments…. Obviously Jimbo is better than me…

2 losses without the point guard on the COVID list - the third was against a team that didn't play according to the equal playing time rules and he left his ace in for the whole game… impressive inference skills…

Starbucks and Academy gift cards are most common… more of a Chili's guy than Applebee's….

I am saying that what is happening this year is about par for the course for Jimbo… it's probably not a bad place to set expectations as a fan moving forward despite the fact Jimbo will likely out earn at least 1 of the 4 playoff bound coaches annually.

Good call on chilis over applebees. There was a time in the late 90s when that applebees clubhouse grille sandwich was phenomenal but those days are long gone.

But yes, there are countless examples. I'm not sure it's a fair comparison though. Where would Bill Belichick be without Tom Brady? Does that make him less of a coach? I don't know that answer.

Also your #s are way off, the record post Winston is 27-12 and 14-10 ACC with 5 of those conference losses coming in the last season.

Your stats are way off, as well the post pre and post Winston years includes a 5-1 record vs. FL.

Regardless of the aTm 2021 season, if there was ANY coach that could be hired and given the contract he was given, it was Jimbo.

The facts do not fit your angry narrative so you are deflecting. This season is a S show and Jimbo needs to own it, he will and does every week.
