If Jimbo can no longer recruit, then I'll agree. But we have more talent on this subpar team than we have had on 90% of the teams in the last 50 years. We obviously need a qb....but this OL will be good. They need time, but loads of talent.

Some are so dumb on this board…troll like dumb.

Jimbo knows he has a chit OL and a QB that can't process too much w happy feet. He'd love to be able to run the ball and elim Calazada from being a liab.

The issue is why is the cupboard so bare at our QB position (why didn't stowers pan out) and why do we lack OL depth and preparedness.

I watched Stowers play half a game in high school playoffs and my immediate reaction was if this guy is competing for the starting job we're in trouble. Can't throw even a little bit. Was a run first QB in high school, thats not a QB

If you truly expected a natty following losses of a senior QB and 4 offensive linemen, I don't know what to tell you. Your expectations were way off from the start.

There's not a single team in the nation that would win a natty while starting 4 new offensive linemen. Not even Bama.

The bad part about today is that with even marginally better play or play calling, we win this game. We didn't just lose to Bama. Arkansas played like dog **** for all of quarters 3 and 4, and was completely beatable. Especially once Jefferson was out. We were just smellier *****

Topic of the day. We get outcoached by teams with inferior talent and coaching and there is always a different excuse. But what is the constant? In year 4 - the coach.

If he's such a great coach, why doesn't he coach great?

You can't coach up a kid who is playing past his level of competence. The more disturbing thing is why is a guy like calzone all we got. What an absolute kick I'm the shorts to everyone else on the team. How can anyone think that kid can play at this level? He clearly can't. Everyone knows it.
