He had his time. He was not in an upswing. And he was the same problem on the D as Fran, Sherman, and Sumlin were on O: mostly failed to recruit balanced talent.

But having lunchpail guys knock out opponents was a lot of fun even if we didn't win significant games. Though probably today we wouldn't be as thrilled with the inevitable DQs for targeting that only get called against the teams with good tacklers…

Overreaction much? "Garbage" before us? Yes, Calzada is not cutting it, but if King were still our QB we could have won against Arkansas. Jimbo is absolutely taking our program in a good direction (bowl wins, recruiting wins, etc.). Every team loses games they are supposed to win (see Clemson this weekend). Also, RC's offenses were growing more and more stale by the season. I don't think we can call this team "garbage" YET. Hands off the panic button everyone. Season is not over.
