Totally agree, north end zone first deck only had one full service concession. The crowd at that one concession was total chaos.

However one upside is the new drink system, seems like a revenue loss but good for the fans.

I wish it was just due to a lack of staffing. They are horrible year after year after year. When will the athletic department get the guts to kick Levy to the curb and get a company that knows how to do their job?

Here are some suggestions to improve this season:

1. Double the DP at every drink station.
2. Change the pricing back to whole numbers and take cash. Running CC's takes a lot more time.
3. Actually have the condiments out where they say they are.
4. Decide how much food needs to be cooked....then multiply that x 20.
5. Sell soda at the stands that are selling alcohol. All they have to do is hand out cups.
6. Have the basics at ALL stands. (Soda, popcorn, peanuts, nachos, hot dogs. etc)
7. When I order a footlong hotdog, I don't expect it to be spicy and have cheese. That was a shocking first bite!
8. Go back to the Aggie dogs that they had in the 90's.
9. Don't stink at your job!

Burnt popcorn and hard "soft" pretzels. Did like the unlimited reloads on sodas.

got in about 5:45, hit the concession early, knew it would be a mess loaded up then. The refill drink system was good.

Why would anyone need to buy food at a night game?
You've had all day to eat at a tailgate and everyone knows how bad it sucks at the stadium already.

Sounds like really bad decision making.

I'm always stunned at how much food people buy at the game. It is like someone's special day of the year--similar to a birthday or anniversary, and you're gonna get your chance of buying an overpriced box of M&M's or even better a huge pretzel, cause OMG, I need those all throughout the whole damn game...

While we represent the values of America well at Aggieland, unfortunately, that includes obesity too, cause I saw a lot of fat people loading up....

More importantly--there should just be a dedicated beer line. That's it. You can only buy beer--no water, no soft drinks, no big pretzels.

That was my Sunday rant...now I'll get back to eating my leftover big pretzel, finish off the stale Dr. Pepper that i snaked out of the stadium, and clean up my daughter's vomit chunks of the chicken tenders and fries she had at the game last night...

In the 240's ran out of ice and soda in the middle of the SECOND QTR! Had to hit multiple drink stations to get a refill. It was a problem the rest of the game

Agreed, it was bad, food ran out on the 3rd deck right after half time, drinks ran on empty by the third quarter, line where there was food wrapped around other lines on the 3rd deck.

Entering the stadium took forever as the ramps I had used in prior years were closed.

Offering up suggestions for improvement but it honestly felt like some of the first games in the new Kyle Field and nothing was learned from those lessons.

Self serve soda service at North top deck at 7, tried 4 different machines to get a Pepsi, all I got was carbonated water. Made for a crappy crown and pepsi.

I think Ross does need to read the thread. The self-serve refills are a very good response to having too few servers. But need to solve for the other issues to make the refills enjoyable.

I think we all knew building that one mile of border wall would have consequences. We just had no idea it would take such a severe toll on our churo consumption at Kyle.

I'm wondering if it isn't just Kyle Field...

Got invited to the Texan's pre-season game last weekend. Went at halftime to get something to eat. Took well into the 3rd quarter to get through the line only to find they were already out of the BBQ needed for my first choice and at least compared to the picture half the ingredients for the 2nd choice. Refillable souvenir cup was a waste as all of the drink stations were 100% out of product.

Stadium was <50% capacity.

Really thinking that outside of the suites or club levels, concessions need to go back to the basics. Sliced pizza, pretzels, hot dogs, nachos, and a nachos supreme.

Hell....offer to pay people $500 a game to work concessions. They will come out. Easy money. Don't say that's too much. Do the math. 500 per person for basically 7 shifts ( games) . Great service to customers and the athletic department with their price goudging will still make a **** ton of money. It's a win win
