Long time lurker infrequent posterc/o 99

I've got a place a bit in the country and not interested in the full direct tv thing. I do have internet/WiFi and a roku tv. Is there a good streaming service or services that will allow me to watch every A&M game and most SEC games? Was thinking ESPN plus but have a feeling a lot of games will be blocked.

Thx

YouTube TV or Sling then cancel when the season is over.

Yeah I would use Fubo Tv or YouTube TV to get the SECN when I was deployed. I think Fubo TV will let you record games in addition to your basic subscription as well. Can't remember which is cheaper though.

Not sure who your data plan is with, but I'll humbly suggest unless it's Spectrum you may have to pay attention to download speed and download usage.

Required download speed to play real time:

4K GB per hour and package exhaustion for various data plans. Note significantly different with most contemporary plans specifically on mobile devices since far less than 4K resolution:

Hulu Live probably does since fully Mouse-owned now. Pick up bundle to get the one ESPN+ presumably ooc home game in football if that starts this fall and Disney+ for kids/grands.

Whenever Texas A&M or SEC games are on CBS, I am able to watch them on my TV. But for other Texas A&M or SEC games that are not on broadcast TV, I stream them through http://nfl-streams.tv/ncaa-football/ or http://bilasport.net/.

Thanks for all the help so far my concern is about getting blocked on those big cbs games and I reckon they have their own streaming service. I'd like to watch the games real time in the mid to later part of the season before or after hunting

I've used YouTubeTV, Hulu Live, and now have FuboTV. Fubo is definitely my favorite of the three.

ESPN+ is not actual ESPN and I don't think you would be able to watch Aggie Football on it.

The biggest hickup with the cloud based DVR's is you cannot go to a live even and start at the beginning.

As soon as you click the recording, it takes you to the event in progress so you end up seeing the game score.

You have to wait until it's over then go start the recording to avoid any spoilers.

I believe youtube tv gives you the option of Joining live or start from the beginning.

Why would a game be blocked?

I have YouTubeTV and it has every channel the Aggies can appear on.

I have YouTube TV and it's fine but it is by no means a cord cutting situation. It is as expensive if not more than most cable subscriptions. That ESPN money has to come from somewhere.

we talking free Willis!

I am not going to pay more than a few bucks a month to watch college football sucky games. I will pay up to $10 to $12/month for a ATM/Bama type game.

I am Open for free gameday tickets if you throw in a free drink and parking (nearby). Decent seats please!

Good luck pal

Good to know, I used Sling last fall and it does not have this option.

How does it handle games going over allotted time slot (Like that 4-1/2hr Tenn game).

I have Fubo. I had YTTV, but had to supplement with Philo so the wife could have her Hallmark syrup. Price is the same between the two.

YTTV has better/more DVR, but you get more than enough with Fubo if you pay quarterly. The catch with Fubo for Football is that you have to add the sports pack to get ESPNU (+$11/month) - the home of the opener against Kent State. Still cheaper than Philo.

ESPN, ESPN2 are part of the basic package.

I believe all of them provide a free trial period.

What you worried about?

When you're a Top 20 team, you'll be on TV every week.

First you get your Fubo, or you can go YTTV, but if you go Fubo your DVR will be FUBAR'd. If you do decide to go Fubo you need to pay extra for the U but not the U in Fubo, that is referring to ESPNU, but not ESPN or ESPN2 because that is included in the basic Fubo. Somehow this is still cheaper than something called Philo. Easy technology is making our lives easier.

There's no limit to how much you can record on your DVR on YouTube tv. But it gets deleted after 1 year.

Only if you consider ESPN3 or ESPN+ whatever it is called as TV. By-product of the deal when ESPN takes over the CBS contract. They get to stream and only stream SEC games every week.
