It's not just 10 years ago. I have several tsip relatives, and for decades they have always said A&M is not their rival and never was. The rivalry was always one way with the Ags wishing tu was their rival, but no self respecting longhorn every considered the Aggies more than their irritating little brother but certainly not their rival. They are so condescending and I guarantee that all you will hear once they are in the SEC is that A&M is not their rival. The hate is only one way Ags hate tu, but tu is dismissive of A&M and thinks we are so far below tu's level in pretty much every way.

The last 10 years in the SEC has been great without tu. If they end up joining the SEC it will be a disaster as they will destroy the conference with their egotistical, greedy attitude and our SEC recruiting advantage will disappear.

Lawrence ks was literally burned down by Missourians. Both the tigers and Jayhawks were the local militias names back then.

It doesn't have to be hate. What's best for them is often more times than not best for us. The current situation for instance. Just a fact, no reason to hate.

People have been shot and killed in Alabama by the way. That's a real rivalry, we are just pretenders thankfully.
