Kind of like when the BiG8 and SWC merged. The office got moved to Dallas as did the game. It won't happen overnight, but it can happen. One thing I've learned is don't underestimate the horns ability to put pressure and play dirty.

Dallas is a much better site for the game than anything that could be offered in the Big8 footprint. This is not the same dynamic at all.

Also the game didn't move to Dallas. The first four years it alternated between KC and San Antonio. Then KC and Houston/SA then Dallas mixed in.

Only since 2017 has it been only in Dallas, and by then Nebraska and Colorado were long gone.

Why should Vandy, Miss schools and Missouri get the same revenue share as Bama, Georgia, Florida, LSU, Texas, A&M and OU?

SEC would now have 7 of the top most valuable Athletic Programs in the country. Why share all of that money?

Start with alternating between Dallas and Atlanta

Yeah, that will work, the newcomers telling the old guard they need to do what we want them to do. Each team gets one vote (assuming a vote is even allowed), the vote would be 2/3 vs 13/14. Why would they move the centrally located HQ and Championship game to the far west of the conference?

This is precisely where we all know the horns are going to steer things. We experienced it for many decades. It's just who they are. Their culture is not going to change just because the SEC commissioner is hopeful. Sankey is over his head and history will not remember him kindly. The poor naive fools of the lesser SEC Schools are about to get the harshest education of their existence. They will be stunned and powerless when reality sets in.

Yep, unequal shares then unequal voting rules then start kicking the smaller teams to the curb as bigger teams become available. They want the sips in the SEC, then they will get sips in the SEC, HARD

It's what they do. It won't happen overnight, but slowly but surely they'll chip away at it. After this commissioner leaves, they'll press for someone of their liking, get the game rotating between Texas and Atlanta, etc.

SEC will be destroyed in 10 years.

This will be the sips first order of business. They will sway a few of the heavy hitters in the league. It will go through. The loss of revenue will hurt the "2nd tier" schools and they will become weaker and eventually pushed out or abandoned. This is the Texas playbook.
