I'm not afraid of then directly, but they have shown they suck at being a team player and, you know, NOT screwing up conference. I have no doubt we are the better program.

No ones afraid. We are pissed at the damage our conference caused our brand this week and the potential for screwing up this conference. Read the effing news there is no doubt we suffered huge hits this week. And if things don't go exactly smoothly this storyline continues. Eff the SEC!

This. The point is that this was done behind our backs knowing full well we would vote no. Snakey started with the schools to get his 11 votes. Then he started with the networks to get a better deal. Then in the last minute, he would call for a vote, ambushing us in the process.

So much with being an "equal" member of the conference as he throws us under the bus.

Post like the OP are short sided. What has allowed us to get to where we are at as a football program? Being in the SEC while Texas is not. I think people are forgetting how much of a recruiting advantage this is. We have had one really good year since Manzel and people are thinking we have over taken Texas. Hate to break it to yall, we havent. And when we allow Texas and OU in the SEC our recruiting advantage will go back to Big12 days. Fisher will not be our coach forever. When he is gone we have a very good chance of not being at the level we are at now and recruiting will drop.

I just dont see why/how everyone is so willing to sell our #1 recruiting advantage over our number one recruiting rival. It makes no sense and is extremely short sighted.

Yeah, people. Gosh. Why are y'all so pissed off about getting screwed and lied to by your own conference. Sit down and take it because we're part of the cool kids table.

People here have pretended for years that not playing Texas was some kind of virtuous crusade (despite the fact that the messaging at the beginning was that we would play them any time any where). So now it's like the end of the world that this meaningless thing is happening because it was built up as some kind of machismo thing to take pride in.
