is just as complicit in this sham, if they had their own balls and said no lets keep the dump 12 together horn wouldnt be doing this ****
OU isn't a valuable program on their own. Yes Slive would have taken them with us in 2011 but Boren put the kibosh on that. So Mizzoo took that spot.hedge said:

I cant blame ou for wanting out of the B12. I do question why they want to be partners with tu after witnessing tu screw over a dozen conference mates in the past 20 years
I think state politics got in the way. It will be interesting to see how it plays out from this point on. OU has wanted out of the Big 12 for a long time.Agsuffering@bulaw said:
ou recognizes that the BDF is untenable in the long run. They have been losing ground in revenue for a while relative to the SEC and know it will only widen. They also know that they cannot recruit the elite defensive players being on the outside looking in.
The great shame is that they did not just accept the offer back in 2011. Mizzou was never a good cultural fit and has only gotten worse.

OU knows they are the next Nebraska without Texas and the Texas market...of course their lips are affixed to the genitals of Texas.
And that stinks too. There will be so many freakin' rematches and trash games with that expansion, the money and interest will drop dramatically. Throw in players opting out of those games and the resulting mess will be a money loser.misterguinness said:
It is not coincidental that the playoff format is expanding. OU is an 8-4/9-3 team yearly in the SEC. However, I bet they have been telling all their recruits that they will be in the SEC. Would explain how much better they are recruiting this year as to last (plus the payments).

The good news is the sooners will be done making the playoffs once they join the sec. They don't realize that only having to get by Iowa state to win the big 12 and make it to the playoffs is not the same as going through the sec.
The sips have only once since 2010 lost less than 4 games in a season and that was last season which was shortened and they still lost 3.
ou and tu will eventually catch up and get SEC type players, just like we did. I just hope the head start we've had pays off and we stay ahead for a while.cupcakesprinkles said:
