Honestly, in those 6 years I've visited TexAgs maybe twice per year but haven't logged in at all.
Why now? Because my immediate reaction to today's news about tu/OU and the SEC was "oh my god TexAgs is gonna be lit up hotter than it's been in a long time".
Y'all did not disappoint lol
Anyway. My ample gut says tu and OU will be the newest members of the SEC.
It simply makes too much sense for the conference as a whole to bring them in. Increases in money, audience exposure, power in relation to other conferences, etc.
Of course, I'd prefer it not happen.
This is oddly reminiscent of when we joined the SEC. Most Ags wanted it to happen, lots of non Ags not wanting it and saying it wasn't going to happen, then it was revealed that the talks were serious, and then it happened.
Count on it happening again, only now we're the ones not wanting it.
The next few weeks on the boards will be fun! Excited to be back! Haha
