Big 12 Announces Decision On 'Horns Down' Penalty (thespun.com)

Over the past few years, the "Horns Down" gesture has become one of the most popular taunts in college football. (LMAO) That being said, officiating crews in the Big 12 will be on high alert this year to make sure that taunt is used the right way.

With the Big 12 Media Days officially underway, Greg Burks addressed whether players will be penalized for using the "Horns Down" gesture this season. Burks is the officiating coordinator for the Big 12.
Although this really shouldn't come as a surprise, Burks revealed that players will be assessed a foul if they direct a "Horns Down" sign at a player on the "whiny BDF school".
"If you do a Horns Down to a "whiny" tu player as an opponent, that's going to be a foul,"

Oh their so sensitive..!! Why does it matter what someone does with their hands. Could they give a horns up signal with one hand and then teammates flip him upside down..? Could they use right hand and make fist put pinky down and hold left hand with a fist next to it with pinky down so it's technically not horns down either

Luckily, we are not in that s*** of a conference and can mock the hyper sensitive ninnies in Austin who get their little feeling hurt when two digits are pointed down. Since it seems to really stick in the craw of so many sips, I hope fans from other teams do it even more

I freakin LOVE that the OU logo has the horns down built right into it!!!
