A certain sip qb seems to be dropping the more football he plays... meanwhile ours remains at the top

Who do folks think is a better QB (regardless of commitment), Cade or Conner?

I really wanted Cade. Legacy kid. Won at the absolute highest level. I think he'll be a stud.

I like Weigman, great get for us. Love all our qbs but I think he's going to be a star.

Sip qb has no film because he's never played. Experience means nothing in sports. 5* for sure. Hahaha.

The bonus with Weigman is he is playing baseball too.

SI with some good things to say about his performance at The Opening (is this connected to the elite 11?)
Quote:

Connor Weigman had a fantastic Saturday. He shined the brightest during crunch time in the championship game, completing several 3rd down passes. Wiegman threw several on-the-money deep balls throughout the day.
Also, nice to see Bobby Taylor getting some love...
Quote:

Texas A&M commit Bobby Taylor really stood out on Friday and Saturday and was one of the most impressive corners at the event. He dropped multiple interceptions at the event, but was also constantly around the ball and making plays. His head coach at the tournament, former NFL safety Ryan Clark, compared him to former Kentucky corner Kelvin Joseph. One spectator, during the final 7-on game, questioned the fairness of a Bobby Taylor and Domani Jackson-led grey team secondary.

The last big piece to the A&M puzzle is a top class QB. Once we get that we are rocking and rolling. We had JFF but the rest of the team was not as good, but I think we should be in good shape soon.

Yea his OL his freshman year really stunk it up. You must be one of those armchair top-notch evaluator's.

And the guy can run. Couldn't really take that into account during this competition. This showed his elite arm but nothing about his legs.

They even mentioned in their coverage of Weigman that "it's a shame that half this kid's game can't even be showcased here"

His receivers were garbage too. One of them didn't even play football until his junior year of high school! As you can imagine, he was no match for Bama's secondary. I don't keep up with the NFL, but I can't imagine any of them made any money playing ball after A&M.

Haynes got first in rail challenge.
Do NOT count Haynes out. His arm talent was his biggest question mark. He showed he's got the arm to compete in D1.
