I could not imagine the tu football jersey looking worse than current day. But after watching the video clip, I stand corrected. The sip football jersey back then was hideous.

This may be before Royal went to burnt orange so as to try and match the color of the football, help to disguise it while running the wishbone.

Royal became the coach in 1957. The other guy got fired because he lost to A&M.

Royal did indeed change the uniforms.

In inherited & digitized some video's of my grandpa on his visit back to A&M back in '60. Showed a small clip of JER outside of the Admin Building & the FTAB with Reveille running around the field during their halftime performance vs tu.
Makes we want to find a way to post it like yours for others to enjoy.

I was at the game near the Aggie bench. Classmate's Dad got 2 sideline tickets and I got one . A day I will never forget. The game was just brutal. It was our 1st win in Austin. Jack Pardee played like a man possessed. Thanks so much for the film.
