I've been trolling LSU fans on YouTube and they are in complete denial about the direction of their program. I think this year is a turning point for them, we'll see how it goes. Also, Georgia fans are a very sensitive fan base. Maybe even worse than sips.

My Buddy from GA has said the same thing for years. They are the Sips of the East. Pretty good school that the alumni delude themselves into thinking it is on par with an Ivy League school and is gods gift to football.

Yep, all I said was that Kirby can't be compared to Dabo because Kirby inherited a recruiting juggernaut and they came unglued. So I went back and looked at recruiting classes before Kirby got there and sure enough they were crushing it 5 years before he got there...and still can't win a title. My point was that Kirby is not as good a coach as he's made out to be and they will be looking for someone new before to long. They went big REEEEEE!

See this is what I'm talking about, denial. Coach O was on video admitting to not even interviewing some of last years coaches that have been fired. There's a title 9 investigation going on. Heck, I don't even know why Erik Gilbert transferred but there had to be a reason. There's not going to be another Joe Brady/ Burrow combo you stumble into. But LSU is going to pull out of all of that and win another title? We may trade wins and losses with LSU for another couple years but as A&M continues to ascend its at the expense of LSU.

I have lived in Georgia and still work there. UGA is the school in that state with all the fake fans. GT and Georgia State have smaller followings, but their fans are loyal because they are more likely to have some connection to the school.

Dawg fans are not as extreme as t-sips at either end of the emotion spectrum. They are cheerful when they win but aren't insufferable, and annoyed when they lose but not terribly annoying.

My brother graduated from Maryland (I got my Master's there) and he attended both games of the Terps-Longhorns series. Before the trip to Austin I told him what to expect, in terms he could understand: "T-sips are not as trashy as West Virginia fans, as entitled as Notre Dame fans, or as rude as Ohio State fans. But they surpass all when it comes to arrogance." He returned after the Terp victory and told me I was right.
