Kliff Kingsbury Used An Incredible Strategy To Get A Hungover Johnny Manziel To Practice In College

There's a cardboard cut-out of him at the HEB I go to...frankly not sure what he's advertising but he should be at the peak of his athletic career...instead a cut-out wearing some brown suit shoved in a corner of some supermarket (hey at least he got paid for that)

Kevin Sumlin and that staff had lots of failings, but in this case, it is a really tough situation for a coach given the pressures of modern major college football. If Johnny had been kicked off the team, we'd not have won as many games we did. Johnny wouldn't have quickly transformed into a saint and came back to lead us to greatness.

And BTW, Jimbo doesn't exactly have a 100% record of being tough on quarterbacks acting like fools but that's maybe for another thread

Yeah Jimbo didn't recruit and coach Jameis Winston, Deandre Francois, and Malik Henry!

If Johnny Manziel had stayed committed to becoming a better football player, he would still be on an NFL roster. Yes, the Cleveland Browns organization was a horribly managed franchise until this past season, but Manziel didn't himself either. Instead of trying to stay relevant and grab attention, Manziel should focus on getting his life together.
