One of the better set of random thoughts. The ten-game conference schedule is a winner, but nine is adequate. The one G5 and P5 probably isn't enough to avoid anti-trust liability risk.
This year has highlighted the financial instability of the NCAA and the non-P5 conferences and even they likely are aware of the money challenges. I don't see anything changing until the whole thing can be stabilized.
Title IX is a poison pill that eventually could destroy scholarship Intercollegiate athletics financially. If schools aren't making enough money off football to cover all athletics they need to move to a more competitive and financially stable league. Competitive to draw eyeballs and financially stable to avoid going out of business entirely.
Arguably we have too many cozy liberal arts schools that offer little to no life preparation for adulting...proven by their administrators failing to adult.
