All they had to say was they thought ND had a slightly better resume going in. Ohio St did not do anything to not deserve to be in, and statistically had the best shot at challenging Bama. That would be reasonable.
They could even point out that Ohio St validated the commitee's selection by beating Clemson convincingly.
I just don't understand why they personalize this. We had a reasonable argument. Ok to say it failed to persuade them, but they threw crap in our faces by calling us reasonable. Fookdem!
My thoughts exactly.
A ton of experts who doubted our team changed their minds after our Auburn game, and more changed their minds right after the Tennessee game. If anything, we respected them for being able to swallow some pride and eat crow and actually started liking them (i.e. SDS).
I dunno why they are adamant about dying on that ship. Heck, even so, I don't think our fans would have this much problem with them if they were at least respectful. It's amazing how these sports journalists think it's okay to act like kids.
