Was the talking point for al these idiot national analysts all year.

BS! Nope, it was just an All-SEC schedule. SEC still as dominant as ever. 2 teams deserve to be in the playoffs every year.

Not watching the game. Are they still spitting that trash after the sec went 6-2 and outperformed the chalk by 2 wins?

I heard the overrated narrative on college sports radio today. They said "if Indiana would have had their starting qb, they would have beaten Ole Miss". You mean the ole miss team that only won 4 sec games?

Yeah, f them! Indiana was something like a 9 pt favorite even without the qb.

I would say LSU ,Ole miss, MSU , Auburn were not as good as usual and the East is still much worse than the west. So , Yeah the SEC was down this year.

Nah... Ole Miss and Auburn were about what they've been. A&M and Florida were up. Florida screwed the pouch at the end of the season, but you could see from the SEC Championship and Georgia games that when they were healthy and prepared to play they were trouble.

Agreed. There were 7 SEC games per week this year, minus a couple that were cancelled, that makes 68 regular season games. That means across the conference 68 wins, 68 losses. No OOC games that result in wins for the conference without losses.

Bama, A&M, Florida, and UGA ranged from extremely to very good this year -together they accounted for 33 of those wins and only 5 losses. Meaning there were 35 wins and 63 losses leftover for the remaining ten teams. So the argument could be made that any team with a record above 3.5-6.3 may have actually been quite good, just not in that top tier.

Of course arguments could be made for or against this method, but looking at it that way I think Auburn, Missouri, and LSU were probably pretty good teams this year, and might have ended up ranked with a normal schedule, and Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ole Miss would have been your standard bowl teams. That wouldn't be called a down SEC.

7-2 with 3 NY6 titles (4 if you double down Bama). That is the post

Uhhhh...all of those 9 games were against top 25 opponents. There isn't another conference that can compare. Ags #2 in the final poll or BS.

They know. They can't say it out loud, but they know.

I figure the SEC was a liiiittle down from normal, but still so far above the other conferences it just didn't matter. 7-2 speaks for itself, and really should've been 8-1 if Florida just shows up and doesn't lose half the starting lineup to opt outs.

3 NY6 if you count the Rose Bowl. They still give out the regular bowl trophies during the CFP semis, after all.

So SEC can claim Rose, Orange, and Peach

There is a certain zero sum because no ooc, Florida was a little better Because Georgia was a little worse. Ole miss & MSU were both breaking in new coaches , UT is a mess , Auburn fired their coach. The Ags & Pig are definitely better.

Wouldn't it be 3 NY6 titles? Rose, Orange, and Peach?
