Looking at the 2021 roster on 12thman the only two surprises I noticed are 1) No Kenneth Phillips (possibly a medical retirement right out of the gate?) and 2) Dametrious Crownover at 6-6 and 295lbs is on the fall roster. He is the only person on the team listed as ATH. Had hopes he would be a TE but that is a lot more bulk than I was anticipating so I guess they are evaluating to sort out position.

Thought I read somewhere that D. Crownover was getting some work in at OT

Crazy to think that 3 DLs from the 2020 class (McKinnley Jackson, Isaiah Raikes, and Dallas Walker) have questions around them already. Hopefully what they did was not too bad and we can move on with all of them still.

This year is unquestionably disappointing. Where do you see hope for future in light of the talent pipeline?

2019 looks solid.

Right now I'd be pretty surprised if we get much out of the bottom 40% of the 2020 class (Hubbard down through Jackson)

QB pipeline is now a glaring weakness with Foster's departure, Haynes injury (the one uncontrollable factor), Calzada's showing and Stowers move to TE.

We can be better than this but it's a joke to think we're going to be competing with bama anytime soon. They outrecruit us every single year despite the koolaid spin that we're closing the gap. And it's hard to argue for a player development advantage given the hot garbage on display this season.

If a conference championship is your measure of excellence I'd suggest finding something else to do for at least the next four years.

Green, Hocker and McCollum as super seniors would've been a huge boost.

You were right on target with the quote below. So many downplayed this at the beginning of the season. Without a solid experienced oline, productivity at all skill levels are reduced. Now add in a backup QB and backup true fish lineman.
