* LOTS of career starts headed out the door. (Heavily concentrated at OL with 133!)
* Not much out of that 2018 class so far except for Brown, Leon and a PK.
* Complete OL rebuild around Kenyon Green for 2021.
* New QB for 2021. Whatever else Mond was... he was durable. Next year's starter will be inexperienced but I expect will have a higher eventual top end. Part of his initial success will depend on how that OL rebuild goes.
* 2020 Seniors choosing to return (currently 7) should greatly help ease the transition to the strong talent in the '19, '20, and '21 classes which form the core going forward.

I'm counting all the 2020 Seniors as gone until they say they are coming back.
For likely early departures (maybe Bobby Brown) I will wait until they declare.

Just curious why you picked ESPN for your recruiting go by?

looking back at the 2017 class...it does show one reason why the 'number of stars' and recruiting rankings matter...

quite a few players from the 2017 class turned out to be very good players by their junior & senior seasons, but it took a lot of time and a lot of development to get them there. They were unable to contribute as freshmen and sophomores and at times struggled mightily vs. SEC competition.

by contrast...some of the 2019 & 2020 four-stars & five-stars have made a difference right away as freshmen and sophomores. Development time was considerably less

absolutely no "football" reason. Their pages just have a very clean presentation style without the 0.xxxx grade format. Also I do like having that year-to-year cutline of the Top300 to see where it falls year-to-year. Open to suggestions if there is a more accurate evaluation source that is that clean and accessible.

I think what is interesting is that a large number of 2019 players are major drivers of how good we are (and can be), which should continue into 2020 players having a similar impact next year. Look how many starters are sophmores or freshmen. 10/22 (with Bobby Brown and Leon being Jimbo recruits).

It's going to look similar for any school taking 25/year. bama probably has a few more that are early entry. clemson is an exception with quite a few less incoming in the 2017-20 4-year window.

Okeke graduating or transferring? Or both?

Okeke would not have counted against the 85. If nothing else, he was a free special teams player. Either he is done or wants a better path to playing time.

Blumrich is on the transfer list but no mention of a team picking him up.

Blumrick would not count against the 85, so maybe there is an understanding that jimbo allows him to return if not picked up.
