You know, come to think of it, it's amazing just how incapable other teams are able to "help" our case in any way.

Yeah, I know, none of these teams are interested in helping us, but man, it's amazing how our team wasn't able to get ANY form of outside help this year.

As for matching up with OSU.... I think our oline and dline would holdup much better than clemson has tonight. We play the run well and the maroon goons are a physical bunch. Not gonna say we'd win or lose ... but we'd play a better game.

It's far from precise science, but it is a valid qualitative comparison.

Vegas would likely have the Aggies as at least 14 pt dogs to OSU. And I'd the farm Sermon would put up at least 100 yds on the Aggie defense. But there is no way of knowing the outcome of the game and anything could happen, which is why the game is played.

I didnt doubt Ohio St before tonight. I did doubt ND however

I have no doubt tOSU is not a good maybe great team. The big issue is that rules were changed to specifically help them and one of the people who voted on the rule change is the chairman of the cfp committee. That is the bigger farce.

According to your metrics...Vince Young that totally destroyed USC in the Rose Bowl in 2006 should have totally destroyed A&M as well.

Young was a total non factor in the A&M game.

I felt like Oh St belonged and Notre Dame didn't. It was Notre Dame getting in over us that I had a problem with after they got whipped in their last game.

I don't know that A & M could have beaten any of the other 3. I think we could beat Notre Dame. We aren't quite there in the secondary or at receiver in terms of developed talent. We may have the right guys here m the program but they aren't quite ready to win a Natty imo. They might be next yr.... we'll see.!

It is also how they looked in those 6 games! If they played those other teams like they got up to play tonight, we would at least say they looked the part.

But remember they looked like ****, losing to NW late in the 3rd and only beating Indiana by 7. They hadnt played nearly as good as they played tonight all season.

They slept thru their boring half of a B1G slate and made the playoffs where they decided to show up and play.

Total mockery of the grind of the regular season.

They now have great rhythm going into the championship game playing their 3rd straight game.

Also Auburn with Gus is good for 2 gimmick TDs per game and a fake, none of that was a factor today, vanilla and no Tank Bigsby.
