Yup. They have only played 6 warm-up games with 0 injuries. Why play a regular season at all? Just invite the 4 teams with the most talent and have them play in a play off in the first half of the season.

But to your point, they do look good...they just didn't earn their spot in the playoff as it was a gift...an unfair gift compared to the other playoff participants.

The problem with Ohio State is the 5 game regular season and having the Big10 to change the rules on the fly several times to help them out. They are talented, no doubt, but the way they got in is unethical and unfair to teams that played a significant number of more games.

Clemson defense being completely lost and fooled by Ohio States schemes doesn't mean Ohio State belongs.

Any team who has a 6 game season should not be playoff eligible. I don't care if they are the best team in the country. There needs to be some parity in the length of the season.

ND always looks completely inept. They have not once shown up in a big game...at least not since Holtz was coaching. No surprise at all they were completely inept again today. And will be next year as well, but that won't stop them from talking a playoff spot away from a deserving team.

The point is OSU should NOT be in the CFP. We would have had a good chance to beat Clemson b/c we would have dominated time of possession.

It's almost as if OSU has 5 less games on their legs versus a team that has played 12 games.

Of course OSU belongs when they change conference rules to get you in the championship game and they change Covid rules so that certain players can qualify to play.

You know you belong when all rules are changed to help you achieve certain goals....must be nice.

how on earth do you clowns know who'd win that game? Clemson isn't what they were when we played them the last 2 years when worse A&M teams played better Clemson teams relatively close.

No, they dont. Their conference changed their rules multiple times.
They might be a good enough team to play in the final four but they dont deserve the spot they are in now.

It's bull**** and everyone knows it. Doesnt matter though because the ends justify the means for college football.

No, Ohio state did not try to cancel the season. In fact, they were one of the teams exploring opportunities to try and play in spite of the big 10.
