I knew this game was going to be close. Cincinnati led 21-10 before Georgia scored 14 unanswered points. The ending was bizarre. After Georgia kicked a go-ahead field goal with 3 seconds left, head coach Kirby Smart and the Georgia sideline celebrated prematurely. Georgia received an unsportsmanlike penalty before a final kickoff. Then, Georgia added a safety.

Not when it's rolling on the ground. Once it hits the ground in the field of play, it's live. If that weren't the case, they'd just call a fair catch for an onsides kick.

They ALMOST (but didn't) beat the #4 sec team who had numerous opt outs.

You could see things shift in the 3rd and 4th quarters where cincy just doesn't have the depth to play against big boys like that for 4 quarters, much less 12 games.

That targeting penalty cost Cincy the game.

My point exactly. In the g5 they have no depth. No ability to compensate whereas the p5 except the BFF has to deal with injuries, etc all season long. Sometimes it costs you a game when you play high level competition which is why the g5 cannot receive equal recognition

Some of their play calling I thought was ridiculous. Don't understand why UGA felt the need to try so many deep throws. They were the better team and shouldn't have had to leave it up to a last second field goal.
