IMO only 3 conferences deserve consideration this year, and I'm not a fan at all of putting in a team that loses a CCG.

OU is remaining at 4. But the Big 12 is weak is a good argument against this.

ND is simply not one of the best four teams. When they play bama, it'll prove it. They'll lose by more than four scores, on a neutral field, with a less talented bama team than when we played them in tuscaloosa. Plus, we are a far better team than we were then.

What I think it should be if it was based on reality:

tOSU might be better than us or ND, but I don't know how anyone could reasonably conclude that at this point since: they played at least 33% fewer games than us and those actually in the top 4 and SOS for games they did play was abysmal. Furthermore, I think they failed any objective eye-test in games v. IU and NW.

But, again, it was never about the best 4 teams.
