Sumlin will get something like $17.5M for total payout for getting fired from his last 2 jobs. And he made fun of A&M after he was gone with his tweet. Yet some on here will say don't talk about him, get a dog, or shame others that say anything about him. Seriously???

I'm just glad we have a much better coach than him now!

I don't really understand the hate for sumlin. He wasn't great for us but he certainly wasn't the worst. I guess since I was in school during the Fran era I will always have a different perspective. Sumlin was ok but not good. Obviously I'm very happy with the direction we've gone with fisher but I don't root for sumlin to suffer either.

Aggie, while not a sip, is the biggest sip goaltender on this site. So it's not surprising he would deflect blame from sip.

Leaving his personal matters out of it, sumlin was a stuck up a-hole at press conferences and always blamed his team. I for one was so sick of listening to his excuses and his sarcastic responses.

Arizona is the perrineal bottom of the barrel in the PAC12 having never won an outright conference title or gone to the Rose Bowl. Seemed like a good fit for Sumlin.

The anger comes from some bad rep that he got us
1. Driving off two NFL caliber QBs
2. The media BS about firing him
3. November meltdowns, tamu = soft narrative
4. Leveraging NFL roomers for raises regardless of the impact to recruiting
5. Holding everyone else accountable for his failures

Thus his failure finally establishes what/who the problem is. With this spectacular failure, there is no doubt.

Fisher also didn't want him. Kid couldn't complete a 7-yard out from the far hash. He was skipping the throw repeatedly in camp and shortly thereafter ruled out A&M to go to Arizona.
