Just feel the need to say this.

If you put all the LSU fans into a large boat in the middle of the ocean, and the boat sank, it would be a damn waste of a boat.

That is all.

Cajuns are loud as ****, quite corrupt in their business dealings, and still a wee bit racist.

Good food though.

Some people try really really hard to make this a rivalry

It's not

Well, no team we play every year that I would rather beat, sans perhaps Bama but that is just because Bama has been best team in college football for forever not really because I really dislike them. No team do we play every year that I hate worse than LSU so for me it is a rivalry that I hope builds each year as we get better and better.

I will tell you the LSU fans I know would be super ticked if they have lost 2 of last 3 to us.

You're probably pretty young.... There's a lotta hate you surely know nothing about,
and it has EVERY INGREDIENT for a huge and growing rivalry in future.

Much bad blood, border state, recruiting battles, history, culture...when A&M wins a few more, it's full on.

There's no "try" to it!

Figured I would explain.

Back in my days in Aggieland, we would travel to LSU and have beer dumped on us, ice thrown at us, urine balloons, all kinds of stuff. All because we were in uniform. So I am sure this has colored my perception.

I'll admit I haven't been back in a few years. Maybe they have changed. It seems you younger Ags think so.

But as far as I am concerned, I'll always remember having to wash the urine and whiskey out of my tuba. So I hope we beat them like stepchildren.

Excuse me for my prejudice.

They've been known to go through parking lots and bust windshields on parked visitors cars when Ole Miss comes to Baton Rouge.

Whiskey and urine- Tiger lemonade?

Still remember the owner (employee?) of Cowhop getting beat by some of their fans.

Every fanbase has those types but seems like LSU had a greater percentage than others. When the Dollar stores have to stock extra 9 volt batteries the week before home games you know there's something wrong with some of their fanbase.

Nope not young

Been in the stands for plenty of A&M - LSU sporting events Before A&M' joined the SEC

Was in stands at Olsen Field as LSU double dipped the Ags in 1989 in the regional finals
Was at Kyle for football games vs LSU in 1989,1991,1993 and 1995
Was in stands in Omaha as LSU beat the Ags in the 1993 college World Series
Was in Baton Rouge for the 2004 baseball super regional
Went to an A&M - LSU baseball game in the SuperDome in 1995
Was at the 2010 Cotton bowl

Remember very well as LSU beat the Ags in the 2nd round of the 2005 NCAA basketball tournament on a heartbreaking 3 pointer late in the game

So again I've seen my share of A&M - LSU sporting events and yes it's a regional interest.
But it is not a big rivarly

Most in here won't admit it but not the same as the A&M - Texas game was

That is evident because we couldn't even sell out football games at Kyle vs LSU and neither A&M or LSU fans wanted to travel on thanksgiving for football game.
Neither of those wouldn't happen for A&M vs Texas
All I do is Nguyen

That's probably the boat many of them used to rescue Houstonians during Harvey. Respect for Louisiana folk. But I hope we kick their ass on the field.

Sorry, if I offended anyone. I am not commenting on LA folk in general, just fans at games.

Anyway, it doesn't matter. Y'all love who you wanna love.

Be blessed.

I hate lsu & their fans.
"I went to Northwestern State so I'm a big lsu fan"
"I have family from Louisiana so I'm a big lsu fan"
"I went to Texas State but I'm a big lsu fan"
"My wife is from Monroe so I'm a big lsu fan"
Some of these people drove through Louisiana once and now they're diehard lsu fans

I am a grad of LSU and UGA, and follow Ags since my cousin played there. Season tix to LSU games.

When UGA comes to BR I dress in UGA stuff, enjoy the reaction of my friends. I got no more than some insults, maybe 2 from kids and 2 from drunks, the last 3 times UGA visited. I did get harrassed when I wore a UGA cap to a LSU Booster meeting tho. But not a word was said when I talked to an old friend, a member of LSU BOS, for maybe 20'.

I am sure that some fans of all ilk can be chitty, especially if one is looking for trouble.

Maybe the worst I know of happened to my son at UF. His pristine, recently restored and repainted, 300ZX was keyed all the way down the side.

Id say A&M and Texas could play Thanksgiving night 5 hours away and it would sellout easily. Baton Rouge to CS is a pretty easy drive. Ive driven to Baton Rouge and back in the same day a couple times

LSU fans are a mixed bag.

Most of the people who actually went to the school, while brash, can be pretty awesome.

But LSU has a larger t-shirt fan base than TU. And when you get that much trash wearing your colors some jackass is going to make you look bad. That's just the nature of the beast. Plus they win a lot historically.. maybe we'll have some idiot t-shirt fans in our future.
Stumpknocker

I live in SWLA. True dat many of the LSU fans are hard to deal with but for many of them, LSU is their main source of entertainment and pride.

This state don't exactly have much to be proud of. It's next to last in most critical health and economic issues. Generational poverty and ignorance are a big problem. It's just as hard a cycle to break as ghetto issues. Appalachia on the Bayou.

I've softened my stance on these folks over the past 5 years and cut them some slack, having said that I'll never go to another game in BTR.
