Jimbo's done a great job in the years he's been at CS, recruiting has been great, we have top 5-10 classes every year and he's addressing areas of need.

We finally are seeing some results in how both the O and D are playing and the trend is upwards.

What else are you looking for?

Top on my wishlist is a 5* QB. I think that is the most indicator of future success. We have a QB coach in Jimbo himself, so if we get the best QB of a class, I think a lot of our issues will be taken care of.

Elite DBs/LBs. The type that you are scared to throw against or that the receivers know will light them up.

Tate Martell was supposed to be a great 5* QB and look how that ended. I'd rather my QB fit the system than be "highly rated".

Lbers and the secondary. Elite speed at WR

Haynes King was a 5* for some time for a reason.

Defensive backs that just say, "no," to the QB every time he throws the ball.

One of the best plays a defense has made against us was the interception the Bama DB had against us. We ran a soft play action to the other side of the field, he stayed back and on his side of the field just enough to use his great burst speed to close the distance and make an athletic interception. An elite pass defender. Someone who, when we play a team life Florida, gameday and the announcers specifically talk about the matchup between our DB and Kyle Pitts as ana ongoing battle.

D-Line & O-Line need to stay solid.

Better DBs for a chance against a Bama/Clemson/tOSU. Demani is the only one currently ready for primetime. That we have gotten Juco CBs the past 2 seasons is not a great sign.

ETA: In fairness, the secondary is better than when he started.

How's the O line going to be next year? I think I heard they are mostly graduating.

Elite DB's and LB's

He and his staff have addressed every single area of need . The two places that I see where it hasn't YET translated to the field in the form of significant improvements are rush DE and safety. The guys they need may be on campus and maybe are even already playing but just need more development/experience.

I would just like to see him reload every year like Saban does. We've always been a school that will have a decent year then lose some of our best players to graduation and the NFL and take a few steps back the next year. I think Jimbo ends this tradition.

A true special teams coordinator and a play calling OC or figure out the ability to change his playcalling pace to be able to HUNH when needed. The communication from him to the booth and back is too slow in critical situations. If Kellen ever checks to the sideline for a new play it is at least 6 seconds before they even get the play call signaled into him.

Seems like we just have a hard time with the best linebackers.

Defensive depth...right now I feel like if anyone on our DLine goes down we're in serious trouble. Same for our LBs. DB seems to have some young-uns to plug some holes so not as concerned as I have been in the past with that group.

We need the defensive version of what's happening at WR, TE, and RB right now. Next guy that steps in is as solid or better as the one we just lost.

Now that Mond has time, the plays have time to develop and I think the play calling has benefited the most. Now we are getting to see what the plays should look like and it looks great.

It's all about catching Bama. And right now that would be about stoping their offense, getting pressure on the QB and stopping their elite skill position players.

We need elite pass rushers off the edge (Shemar Turner and Adeyley), elite pass catchers to take the top off the defense like they have at Bama (Banks, Thomas Jr, Demas etc.), and elite DBs to guard the guys they have at Bama.

Combine that with continued good OL and DT recruiting and development

A faster version of Lester Hayes type DB.....

A linebacker, just one and I'd be happy.

Linebackers, also the WC type. Big, fast and nasty.

I think what they are missing to be elite is a top CB, LBer, Pass Rusher and a WR to take the top off the defense.

Apparently we need to shore up our defense...
