Can anyone remember the last time a P5 conference game was so completely lopsided to the point where it almost guaranteed the coach would get fired. 77-0 OU was the only game I could think of where a team was as completely dismantled as SC was last night.

Here's a picture of Muschamp when you could literally hear the crowd revolt on TV.

I mean, this is what about 80% of Bama's SEC games look like, so yes.

That is a little different. SC has history, support in football, financial resources and is a decent team with probably 3-4 NFL caliber players and they were completely overwhelmed. You felt like we may have a a day offense but I don't think anyone could have predicted out defense so completely manhandling them the way we did.

While I 100% agree with you, I'm not sure it would have mattered last night. We manhandled them in every facet of the game. SC's coaches could have schemed their a**es off, yet we still punched them in the teeth over and over again. We didn't do anything tricky, out of the ordinary, or fluky. We simply administered a good, swift, a**-kicking.

(Note: I cannot believe I just typed that paragraph above about Aggie football. Indeed it certainly ain't like it used to be.)

I posted this on another thread. Best I can tell, these were our most dominant road conference wins, dating back to RC's first season in 1989.

2015 - at Vanderbilt - we won 25-0. Not as dominating as last night, but that was a whippin'. Punch even one of those 6 FG drives into the end zone, and we're talking about something similar to last night's game.

2014 - at South Carolina - we won 52-28. The night we were introduced to Kenny Trill. The defense let down a little at the end to give USCe some garbage points, but we pounded them mightily.

2012 - at Auburn - we won 63-21. Auburn was terrible in '12 and Johnny had his way with the Tigers. Again, the defense allowed 3 TDs, so not on the level of last night's game.

2012 - at Mississippi State - we won 38-13. Maybe if Johnny hadn't broken out the Scooby Doo Halloween costume a few nights before this game, we would have put up 50 points against a pretty good MSU team.

2010 - at Kansas - we won 45-10. I don't remember anything about this game, but a 35-point road win is typically pretty good.

2010 - at Texas - we won 24-17. Nothing remarkable about this game except any time I get a chance to put a win over the 'sips on the list, I'm gonna do it. And I'm pretty sure the punt is still rolling...

2007 - at Nebraska - we won 36-14. NU wasn't great that year, but we mauled them in Lincoln. As I recall, the Huskers scored a garbage TD in the final seconds.

2006 - at Texas - we won 12-7. See Texas comment above.

2004 - at Iowa State - we won 34-3. Much like the KU game above, I remember nothing about this game, but a 31-point road win over a team that went 7-5 on the season is pretty good.

2002 - at Baylor - we won 41-0. BU was only 3-9 that year, but I'm sure RC loved whipping the Bears in Waco in what turned out to be his final season.

2000 - at Baylor - we won 24-0. Didn't realize RC posted back-to-back shutouts in Waco to end his career.

2000 - at Iowa State - we won 30-7. ISU went 9-3 in 2000, so they were pretty good. They beat these teams with winning records that year: Ohio U., UNLV, and Pitt...and got throttled by us, NU, and KSU. Maybe they weren't that good after all.

1999 - at Missouri - we won 51-14. I was at this game. The game was nowhere near as close as the score indicates. Bonfire fell a few days later. :-(

1997 - at Oklahoma - we won 51-7. Brutally cold night and John Blake's Sooners got steamrolled from the opening kick 'til the final gun. I'd have to say this game was as close to last night's USCe game as we'll find.

As I recall we had a huge win over Missouri during the RC years in the early 80s. We shut them out in the neighborhood of 60-0. I'm not saying that was the final score is I don't recall but, I'm pretty sure we did shut them out by a huge margin. I'll let the research department get the details.

Yes, we beat Mizzou 73-0 in 1993, but that was at Kyle and it was not a conference opponent. We were in the SWC and Mizzou was in the Big 8.

I think what people forget that even in the Auburn game they scored 21 points and our defense was always vulnerable in the Sumlin era. We had our backups in on defense and there was no way they were going to sniff the end zone last Saturday.

And that was actually only part of a long Waco win streak. I think we won there in 95-93-91-89-87 as well ... 9 straight wins in Waco.

We had to play at Baylor back to back seasons when we transitioned from the SWC to the B12.

I get why Kansas wanted Les Miles but not the other way around.

Kansas, Vanderbilt, etc. should take a long look at Paul Johnson, or someone from his coaching tree if they were smart. Have to do something unique in order to compete in the situation they're in.

Big 12 teams are bad on defense...why not play keep away at the same time.

1984 @ tu: 37-12. Ray Childress and defense manhandled the teasips all night.

1985 @ tcu: 53-6. Jackie Sherrill hated TCU and Jim Wacker and ran the score up. Even had an onside kick for good measure. The 1986 game was a bloodbath with the Aggies winning 74-10

SC was out coached on both sides of the ball , simple fact. They were playin checkers while the good guys were playin chess is all. They didn't have a clue where the ball was going and I seen Jimbo run more misdirection against them than he has all year. And by the way, that's how you beat Bama. I haven't seen anyone just line up and go toe to toe with Bama. SC was perfectly called. Game over.
