Oklahoma St. or Texas?

Generally any Texas loss is good.

But, if OSU wins, that probably means Tom is gone. We don't agree on much on this board but we all generally agree we like Tom in Austin and want him there as long as possible.

And, if by some miracle the Ags can string something together here, we don't want OSU to go undefeated. Texas and Oklahoma are only two games they could possibly lose it would seem.

So, who you rooting for Saturday?

Gundy almost played for the national title and it didn't help them at all in recruiting. OSU can win all they want. It's not going to affect us.

Either outcome is a positive for me.

t.u. is going to shock the nation and beat overrated Oklahoma State and then they will be proclaiming themselves back again.

Kansas State could be a tough game for OSU

I want to see Herman win just enough to think he got a raw deal after they fire him. Not really too picky on details. Then, we will be entertained by he and his wife via twitter.

It really doesn't matter.. all losses are self contained within a dumpster

Whorns will not fire kissy Herms in the year of Covid and band / campus turmoil.

A lot of ifs, but if Ags win out we certainly don't want undefeated OSU.

-10-year Herman extension,
-further decline into dumpster fire,
-continuing loss of recruits and national spotlight, and
-annual crushed expectations and over-hyping.

If tu loses, they might fire Herman.

So I'm rooting for the sips.

So they'll probably get trucked.

Anything to keep Herman coaching for 5 more years

It's about us! One of the few things sumlin got right.

Sip or anyone else winning/loosing should only be considered in light of what benefits us.

Ideally, sips do just enough to get Herman another year. My guess is 6 wins does it.

Would also like okie lite to lose so we take over their spot.

That said, this is a close call. Fpi has the sips going 7-3. Okie lite going 7.8-2.2. Really don't want either to get 8 wins.

Probably better if okie lite wins, but que sera sera.

I can think of ONE scenario I'd pull for the sips

Tceh or baylol is undefeated, and t.u hasn't won a game. Id love to see the sips ruin their season

If the sips played Iran I would wrap a rag on my head and root for allah. I despise baylor, tceh, penetration state, and ou......but I despise the sips and always will.

This board makes me laugh. Especially when half of you guys are full of it.

Simple example, last game of the season pits Texas against OSU. If OSU wins they go undefeated and win conference and knock Ags out of Final Four. Or, Texas wins, sending Ags to final four and you guys would root for Texas to lose?

Give me a break. I get that this particular game is not so clear cut, that is why I posed the question. Of course if we knew OU would beat OSU I would be rooting for Texas to lose but...

In any event, I like Texas losing recruits and being a complete nothing in national landscape right now. I kinda like them in this spot. Herman is awful, we couldn't ask for a better coach at Texas. I hope he wins just enough somehow to keep his job and keep Texas irrelevant, like they have been for last decade.

OSU losing means more to us right now. Texas losing means more in recruiting. I'm happy either way. Tbh I almost prefer Texas to win because it helps Tom keep his job. And we want him to stay.

Have to go for Sips...hate to but have to. Moves us up 1 and may keep kissy face around a little longer....then they can go back to losing... F TX

Those of you who want Texas to lose every Saturday have to consider the long game. A good win every once in a while is key to keeping a program mired in mediocrity.
