Football is a collision sport.

Those of us who played and those who play today, especially at a competitive level, understand the risks. It's no mystery.

Playing in the 70's, no one on our team or any we faced was 250 lbs. I can't tell you how many concussions I had. Of course, it might have had something to do with the helmet being used as a weapon instead of head protection.
