2012. Everything seems to be going as planned.

Jimbo is on schedule indeed.
And for all you pot banging mouth breathers, one day we will have a different QB, and Jimbo will still be on schedule.
would you have Jimbo come out and single out players who played poorly in his public press conferences? Might be a bad look for recruiting, a very, very, very bad look and would also destroy players' trust in Jimbo. Coaches need to be supportive of individual players when they can be, especially in the public eye for the most part, and keep most the hard conversations in the coach's office or on the field. Saban didn't just shred Hurts when he struggled to a degree all year and inevitably lead to replacing him with Tua.Aggie_Nuke said:Bill Superman said:

Not if his idea of a great QB ("best in the SEC") is Mond....... I seriously question his judgement, since he continues to play Mond........
I completely agree with you. Yesterdays 28-14 win at Mississippi State much better than our uninspiring 17-12 home win over Vanderbilt. Mississippi State stunned defending champion LSU 44-34 in Baton Rouge. After week 1, many people on this forum, including myself, expected us to lose three straight games to Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi State. After getting crushed by Alabama 52-24, we have responded with two straight wins to improve to 3-1. Mississippi State is moving in the opposite direction by losing three straight games and two of them by double digits.AggieTFA06 said:
I'm honestly happy with yesterday's win. Winning on the road in the SEC is always a good thing. Doing so by double digits is a better thing. Mond didn't have to look like Johnny Football since our running game was working.

Is winning on the road in the SEC easier this year?

Thank you for pointing out this statistic. You have managed to help me understand why this win just felt different...Iraq2xVeteran said:
This was our first double-digit road win since a 24-13 win at South Carolina on October 1, 2016. Our previous four road wins from 2017 to 2019 were by 7 points or fewer.
