If you weren't around when those guys and their buddies were playing, we welcome you to Century Square. Our newest event series this Fall is called The Front Porch. This live music series is a story our founder wanted retold. We're paying tribute to Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen who used to sit on their front porch and swap songs.
Where were you when these two Aggies were singing on their old front porch in Northgate?? We'd love to hear your story here!
Their front porch became somewhat of a stage - a place where local musicians could play their music. We've recreated the scene on The Green, added socially distanced circles, and invited College Station's best local musicians. Thursday nights we jam out to Open Mic Night, Fridays we take it slow with a story telling song swap and on Saturdays nights we give one musician their chance to own the stage.
Make it a weekend beginning on Thursdays and check out all the events HERE.
If you haven't visited us, we invite you to come out, park in our 5-story garage (it's free!), grab a bite to eat, and stroll the square.
