If we hadn't hired Jimbo, Dan was my #2 choice. He would have to learn the recruiting aspects but he is an excellent coach. If Jimbo leaves after his 10 years (doubtful) I would hire Dan in a heartbeat, though he may prefer NFL level coaching, and to be honest will likely be an NFL HC sooner rather than later. Probably already should be.

Didn't listen but Dan's a solid guy. He caught the wrath of the early pc warrior clown show and lived to tell the tale. He's a good coach and a fine American.
