Not sure why it's taken so long for people to realize that statues of men that took up arms against the United States of America because they disagreed with the financial policy of the country shouldn't still be around. Why not erect a statue of Timothy McVeigh if we're all for memorializing history of rebellion?

Um you do realize why the statue is there in the first place right?

I sure hope someone one day does not take a twitter post from you 10 or 20 years from now (of which is suddenly considered horrible by as yet to be determined future standards) and use that to utterly make an entire judgement call on your entire life based off that one social media post.

He's not there for those reasons and you know it.

At that point I will be on the wrong side of history and expect my thoughts that are viewed as wrong and blasphemous be condemned and removed from history. I would hope my family apologize for my views as at the time I meant no ill will but do not want to glorify what is now viewed as wrong. Pretty much the same approach anyone of Nazi descent takes.
