How long do you want to ignore this user?
does anyone have pics or information they can post? I don't pick until May 6
I'm currently in 402 row 4, but was hoping to find something better.
Although I like my seats, but would not be opposed to paying more for better seats.

Don't worry. There will be PLENTY of open seats in the Fall.

I assume the top of the SZ and top corner of the NZ are "held back" from sale at the moment???

Totally agree and it caught my eye last week as well. Across the college landscape, attendance is down, and holding back these less desirable seats could allow for better consolidation in the way the seats are presented in the selection appointments. It could also allow for larger group donations to vets, first responders, and other organizations. Or eventually sell them if we had enough demand. But the REAL story is what else was held back...

I find it interesting that there NO seats (0, zero, nada, zilch) showing available in the lower 6 rows of the upper 340's, the lower 10 rows of 133, or the first about 10 rows of 117 and 118. I selected very early in the process, and having done this selection every year, there are always some pairs here and there, movement, upgrades, drops and changes that create some availability in these areas. I assume the 12th Man decided to "keep" those seats in their inventory when they were not renewed to resell with their secondary market ticket partner (which, having partnered with Stubhub, the 12th Man would now have the analytics of which seats sell the easiest and give the best ROI compared to their cost/donation).

Yes, some seats in those areas may become available as the process starts and people upgrade to other locations. That will free them up, but in the beginning of the seat selection process, you should see the truest map of what wasn't renewed. And there is no possible way those rows didn't have any turnover and create some availability. And the top 100 donors are not snatching up those seats, so why were none available? Even the most highly sought after areas have some turnover, but somehow these relatively low $ entry point locations with good resell demand (I've done my homework on seats, trust me), didn't have ANY seats available to the general public? Hmmmmm.....

And for those thinking we are now a week into the selection and the "best" bad seats have already been selected by the top 1800+ accounts, understand I am sharing info from the map on day 1 of the process. I selected at ranking #125, and at that point, the availability map was just non-renewals. And seats that should have been there were not. I'm fine with the 12th Man holding back seats for guests, for last minute needs, and for themselves. But they are also in a place of needing to maximize the return of ticket revenue, and those seats have better ROI in the resell market on StubHub then they do through the normal selection process.

And, I'm still not sure why the 12th Man won't do an updated availability map release every few days. We all know it changes daily, but it would create more interest in what is available. Some people would see that they just missed out on choice seats by a few days. It might spur increased donations or additional ticket sales as folks jockey for ranking position and Priority Points. We are in a gamification society, and if you realized you could have had better seats by selecting a day sooner, you might try harder to "win" next time...

The 12thMF isn't exactly the "A-team" when it comes to handling major college sports. I'm sure good people work there but they probably need to be serving A&M in some other capacity. A&M pretends to be a pro sports level organization but provides a cobbled-together minor league experience.

Happy to have dumped season tickets and spend money and time with family and on travel instead of beholden to subpar fan experiences and a middling football program for years.

I completely understand why some dedicated folks are unable to see the light though.

I choose this Wed. May 6. Hoping there will still be some good options.
What does the "AC" stand for in west side seats.
I assume FB stands for field box.

Some people are happy to choose to support the program directly and be invested stakeholders, not ancillary fans/supporters, not that there is anything wrong with the latter. There are others that are very happy you dumped your seats.

As for product on the field and relative success or lack thereof, that is completely separate from how the TMF is run and operates.

I have season tickets to A&M and Alabama, and can tell you that the professionalism, experience, and customer service from the TMF is 10000000x better than Alabama.

My other daughter (ranking 5000?) has a selection on Thursday morning. I will get updated availability and hopefully more screen shots by lunch that day.

If your appt. is passed, how do you view the map? Mine was this AM and I did make a change.

Looking at it now I get a message that reads "You have completed the seat selection process. Although your selection cannot be changed, you can access the map to view seats."

But I see no way to view the map.

Agreed, better than most years it seems. Remember, renewals were done PRIOR to Covid issues and oil going negative, so these were Ags that had already given up their nice seats.

However, the selection process may be be skewed this year as it is happening DURING Covid and economy concerns and low oil prices. Makes sense that some donors may not be adding seats or upgrading right now.

Also, there will be a lot of change this week. For instance, the first 8 days of selection covered only up to about ranking 1700-1800, while this week will get us up to ranking 5000 by lunch on Thursday. That's a lot more people potentially selecting, and a lot more of those nice seats possibly disappearing at a faster rate this week.

I wonder how many season ticket holders opt in to the seat selection process?
50%?
20%

I have no idea

Yep... I select Thursday afternoon... just hoping to move up a bit higher in 125 or 126

Top corners of the NZ are visitor seats. SE corner is students, SW corner is visitors too I think. There were also some discounted tickets at the top of the NZ and SZ that were sold this year. Probably why those areas aren't available.

I do it every year. I have probably improved as good as I can into AC10. not a lot of seats left on west side chair backs, clubs or box seats. Not much in Zone club either. I was surprised at how few seats there were.

Sorry, no help on posting pics. But I did my selection just now.

Plenty of tickets available on the outer club sections. I was able to move over 1 section and down to the first row in AC 11.

I just changed my 5 seats from section 402
to section 133 row 38.
Under the overhang, so thought that might be a nice feature.
Hope I like the view. Will miss the big screen. Will have to settle for the smaller screens in the north endzone.

Row 33 here same section (when I get them from a friend) I think the view is just fine...I end up not even paying attention to the boards...students near by keep it interesting (many drunks) and the opposing band is not far so it's an interesting section.

So I guess it's mostly students in section 132? That's cool.

I know section 134 is faculty and staff.

Do you feel like being on row 33 puts you at a pretty good height? so you can see better than if you were in lower rows?

Thanks for posting those pics.

The two seats in section 408, row 2 are a good deal for someone. Low price and nice view with only one row of folks in front and you face the FTAB and are near the escalators.

Good luck with your selection, Ags.

91poohah, can you post a screen-grab pic of section 115?

From the TMF I don't see how you can look at the map without it being your appt. time, and my appt. is over and the system won't let me view the map....
