Got this as a gag gift, and tried to start it. I'm pretty sure it was designed by demons.

The pieces are super tiny, it's impossible to remove a misplaced piece without a knife, and the instruction book is designed to end the relationship you have with anyone that is unfortunate enough to help you. Apparently there is a pry bar to remove pieces that was not provided in the box. The pieces come in 20 different bags that were not assembled together by any discernible reason.

You should really try binge watching Netflix or Prime to kill time during this pandemic. This just does not seem fun.

I saw a Twitter thread about it that made it seem like a great time if you're a sadist. I was definitely curious...

I just checked it out... 4700+ pieces? Is that a typo?!

It is not. And each piece is like 1/4th the size of a regular LEGO piece.

If its made by the same people that made my A&M helmet (which it sounds like it is), then yes, it is made by demons. Not only are the pieces tiny, the directions impossible to understand, but it was also missing a lot of pieces making completing it impossible.

I had a similar set but of the Texans helmet. I picked a great teammate who more than carried his weight and was doing a great job. Then I traded him and now my helmet is incomplete.

The pry bar is in one of the bags of bricks. Open em and you'll find it eventually. But yes it's almost impossible to remove bricks without it, and overall this thing is just too complicated/confusing to be fun.

BRXLZ not LEGO. And they're usually sold as puzzles...

It's not LEGO's fault...

I actually liked it. The pry bar worked, the instructions were easy enough to follow, and it looks pretty cool. There is a logic to how the bags are assembled, although I've forgotten what it was.

I only had two problems. One is that the pieces are too small for my fingers. The second was that pressing down pieces barehanded was making my fingertips really sore, but using a piece of scrap wood solved that.

It took quite a bit of time to complete mine. The one I have had 4722 pieces.

Glad someone said it. LEGOs are one of those things where the generic brand just doesn't stack up to the name brand. LEGO is expensive, but at least they have the manufacturing and quality and perfect tolerances to back it up.

Thanks for your comments about the difficulty of assembly. I likely would have bought it without knowing it is an exercise in frustration and relationship demolition.

I read the title "Kyle Field logo set" and got really excited thinking maybe we were about to get a bevel-less midfield logo

I made one of those. It gets easier after the first layer. That being said I'm an engineer and it was very difficult. It took me about 25 total hours. I also got one for Neyland Stadium(UT) and Kyle Field is double as many pieces.

The company that made Lego Kyle Field also made a lego model of Reveille. I was given the lego Reveille as a gift and it took me 7 hours to build.

I've been working on my set for a year and a half. I can only mentally handle 1 page an outing for all the reasons listed above

I glued my lego reveille together. I wasn't about to drop it and have to build it again. These sets are a major pain in the ass.

I got one too, from my son. We made it together. It wasn't that bad, once you figured out the maroon vs. brown, and light grey vs dark grey on the instructions.

I'm glad it isn't real lego- it would be freaking huge if so. This one can sit comfortable on the corner of my desk.

My son put together the logo in an evening. Unfortunately, it has an approximation of the bevel.

Those finished stadiums....y'all have done...a standing ovation. Look great and I know what you went through to get it done. I've had mine 6 years now.... and the foundation is barely outlined. I lost the love when I realized I am missing a yellow two peg piece and after counting the posts to make sure it's laid out exactly because this is not a forgiving build. You may have to start over and that will ruin my life. Am I not doing something that is logically unsaid? I want to finish this but counting pegs and bricks for outlines isn't going to go well. This is like a 3D needlepoint and there is a reason I've never done that either. What did y'all do to say motivated when the end can't be seen.? Speaking of seen.... a tweezers has been my friend....what does that say? Pieces too tiny?

I got one of these in 2018. I started working on it and separated all the different pieces in to zip lock bags. My system of putting it together was organized and I was really making progress. I got about half way complete and the maid knocked it off the table some how and pieces came off and then she put it all of it in a box and messed up my organization. My 13 year old tried to revive the project this summer but said it was no use. My 6 year old is OCD, so there is hope.

My granddaughter has decided she wants to be a fourth generation Texas Aggie. This is what she wants for Christmas. Any ideas on where to get one?
