Superman is supposed to wear a blue suit with a cape.

Spiller is going to get a chance to rest up some this year.

This kid is going to be a blast to watch. Heck of an athlete.

This tape is precisely why I don't really like moving Ainias to RB.

Reminds me of Trey Williams' highlight tape. Just 10 minutes of straight touchdowns.

Good acceleration like Trey. Might be a little faster?

I ended up feeling sorry for the kids trying to tackle him and imagined how many coaches chewed those kids out for being right there and not laying a hand on the kid. They had kids in a position to make the play and he just made them look silly. Some of the kids sure looked dejected on defense after it was like the fourth time he ran the length of the field for a score on them and it didn't matter how hard they tried they couldn't tackle him and often couldn't even touch him.

Incredible highlights for Mr. Achane - everything from speed to change of direction.

I can't wait to see him tightrope-walking the sidelines of Kyle Field (and SEC road venues) on his way to numerous TDs.

Going old school on the comparison ....

I see no issues with Smith, Achane, and Spiller getting the ball enough. The days of 1 back or even 2 are done. Spiller did it last year because he had no choice. But our Offense ran much smoother with Smith getting carriers in the bowl game. Achane will be used all over the field. Having 3 good backs is no issue at all. Don't sleep on Crownover as The Power Back
I hope you are right.

But Jimbo seems to pick one player and go with them. Richardson certainly earned a shot at more carries, but did not get them. Corbin should have had at least some more carries the season before, if nothing else to have a more experienced backup to Williams. Did not happen.
Most years at FSU Jimbo had a 1000+ yard back and another in the 300-500 range. He doesn't use one guy for 25-30 carries a game. Usually one guy at 15-20, a 2nd at 7-10, and maybe a 3rd for a few here and there in most seasons. Here, he rode Trayveon in 2018 because he was that much better than anyone else and then Spiller in 2019 because of injuries.

Plus, both Smith and Achane will be used in more ways than just pure TBs.

Why should Corbin have had more carries the year before? It worked perfectly getting Trayveon the rock more.

Richardson didn't know the playbook well and didn't take care of all his things off the field from what I understand. There's a reason he's gone and wasn't even eligible to play in the bowl game.

I still see Reggie Bush and combine that with Randy Moss clone in Demas, we have some serious offensive fire power coming in.

I imagine Ainias will be moved back to WR if he is not needed.

The most impressive thing is his acceleration. It's fun to watch him leave everyone behind, just we did to the sips when we left for the SEC!

You're not taking carries away from your bellcow, reliable team leader for a true fish just to get some more game experience. Corbin got 61 carries for 346 yards. That's plenty of carries just for experience. If corbin had 9 carries for 17 yards I might agree he could have used more. 61 carries is plenty to get your feet wet in preparation for the following season.

Hold back a little on awarding the Heisman. He weighs 170 pounds and stands about 5'9". He is probably more of Rashaud Paul than Tony Dorsett, Barry Sanders, or Reggie Bush, all of which he has been compared to in this thread.

Most likely future is punt returns, a little slot, and 1-2 jet sweeps a game. Those holes in that video you can drive a truck through don't appear very often against LSU, Bama, and Auburn.

Best comparison I see out there is Tavon Austin. And if he can be what Tavon Austin was, we got something pretty special. Austin REALLY helped those WV offenses.

That run at 4:06 in the video where he blows by the guy with like 4 steps on him and the angle is very impressive.

I'd say 3000yds and 50 TDs is a pretty solid fantasy season

Comparing him to Paul is arguably more silly than already anointing him as Barry Sanders or Reggie Bush. Paul was a 4.6 type guy who was shifty. Achane has to be a legit 4.4 guy and the fastest guy in the state in pads.

I knew he was fast, but the highlight reel shows outstanding balance as he stayed upright at breakneck speed breaking tackles on the rare occasion someone got to him. He also has great patience - he sets up the next juke before he's done with the current one. It's like old time video game speed. He's going to be fun to watch.

Literally seems like he is through the secondary in three steps.

If Achane can make Mond look as good as Tavon made Geno Smith look we might have a playoff run in our future.

After all, what could happen? Not like your starter could be lost for the season with an injury?

A lot of college coaches disagree with you.

He kinda reminds me of Pat White in that it looks like defenders should have the angle to tackle him and they just... don't. Between his change of direction and ability to hit top speed quick I am so excited about this kid.
