Superman is supposed to wear a blue suit with a cape.
Spiller is going to get a chance to rest up some this year.

Good acceleration like Trey. Might be a little faster?OldShadeOfBlue said:
Reminds me of Trey Williams' highlight tape. Just 10 minutes of straight touchdowns.
Most years at FSU Jimbo had a 1000+ yard back and another in the 300-500 range. He doesn't use one guy for 25-30 carries a game. Usually one guy at 15-20, a 2nd at 7-10, and maybe a 3rd for a few here and there in most seasons. Here, he rode Trayveon in 2018 because he was that much better than anyone else and then Spiller in 2019 because of injuries.samhoustonag said:I hope you are right.MikeA245 said:
I see no issues with Smith, Achane, and Spiller getting the ball enough. The days of 1 back or even 2 are done. Spiller did it last year because he had no choice. But our Offense ran much smoother with Smith getting carriers in the bowl game. Achane will be used all over the field. Having 3 good backs is no issue at all. Don't sleep on Crownover as The Power Back
But Jimbo seems to pick one player and go with them. Richardson certainly earned a shot at more carries, but did not get them. Corbin should have had at least some more carries the season before, if nothing else to have a more experienced backup to Williams. Did not happen.
I imagine Ainias will be moved back to WR if he is not needed.OldShadeOfBlue said:
This tape is precisely why I don't really like moving Ainias to RB.
Why should Corbin have carried more the year before? Game experience.beerad12man said:Most years at FSU Jimbo had a 1000+ yard back and another in the 300-500 range. Plus, both Smith and Achane will be used in more ways than just pure TBs.
Why should Corbin have had more carries the year before? It worked perfectly getting Trayveon the rock more.
Richardson didn't know the playbook well and didn't take care of all his things off the field from what I understand. There's a reason he's gone and wasn't even eligible to play in the bowl game.
He's definitely faster than Darren.rather be fishing said:
He's basically Darren Sproles
If Achane can make Mond look as good as Tavon made Geno Smith look we might have a playoff run in our future.knoxtom said:
Hold back a little on awarding the Heisman. He weighs 170 pounds and stands about 5'9". He is probably more of Rashaud Paul than Tony Dorsett, Barry Sanders, or Reggie Bush, all of which he has been compared to in this thread.
Most likely future is punt returns, a little slot, and 1-2 jet sweeps a game. Those holes in that video you can drive a truck through don't appear very often against LSU, Bama, and Auburn.
Best comparison I see out there is Tavon Austin. And if he can be what Tavon Austin was, we got something pretty special. Austin REALLY helped those WV offenses.
After all, what could happen? Not like your starter could be lost for the season with an injury?beerad12man said:
You're not taking carries away from your bellcow, reliable team leader for a true fish just to get some more game experience. Corbin got 61 carries for 346 yards. That's plenty of carries just for experience. If corbin had 9 carries for 17 yards I might agree he could have used more. 61 carries is plenty to get your feet wet in preparation for the following season.
