The full list was just released and Manziel was nowhere to be found. Absolutely disgraceful. First freshman to win the Heisman is a huge deal.

Tebow accounted for 145 TDs and 2 national titles, one Heisman, you are correct him only being ranked number 76 is the most glaring snub on this list

Manziel absolutely should be on the list. put him way down at the bottom if you have to, but you can't deny he's one of the best college football players of all time. he got people not from Cleveland to watch Browns games and non-Canadians to watch CFL games.

Not a snub. Tannehill is our best QB.

Tannehill is our best NFL quarterback. Not college.

That is the issue here.

A&M was only going to get one player on the list. I like Crow over JFF in that situation.

JFF was special because he helped set us up for future success in the SEC. Without him, we are Ole Miss right now. The average college football fan won't think that deeply about that, but why would they?

No offense but he played only two years compared to most everyone else and his second year was not as dominate as the first. And this coming from a person who loved watching him do the things he did on the field

Johnny's second year was better than his first. The record didn't reflect it because the defense was bad
This. Outside of throwing more interceptions, Johnny was even better his second year. He . just looked ugly in the public eye. His numbers were absolutely disgusting and he did it all as a Freshman and Sophomore.
He was statistically a better passer. Rushing numbers, while still impressive, took a dive.

In case your wondering, 52 of the Top 150 won the Heisman and 33 Heisman winners didn't make the list.

101 of the 150 come from 20 schools. Notre Dame and USC have the most at 9 each.

Manziel did not DESERVE to be anywhere near the top 150. He *might* make the top 5000.

For starters, to be in the top 150 OF ALL TIME, you need to have at least 3 elite seasons. JFF had 1 really good season and one mildly above average season.

I know you're trolling, but at least do your homework. You're coming off like a complete idiot with an ax to grind.

O.J. Simpson played just two years. Larry Fitzgerald played just two years. Doug Flutie was an above average college quarterback for three years and then had an outstanding senior year, which paled in comparison to both of Manziel's years. Most Heisman winners have only one elite season. Manziel's second season was better than his first. Hell, using your logic, Joe Burrow, who had the greatest year of any college quarterback ever, should not have made this list had he been eligible.

My objection to this list is not necessarily that it left Johnny off. It's that there appears to be no logic to who was left off and who was on. Should off the field issues affect the list? Fine. Then explain the inclusion of O.J., Johnny Rogers and Reggie Bush. Should it be based on an entire career and not just one year? Explain Paul Hornung (who, frankly, never even had an above average year.) Hornung might be the most overrated college player of all time, but he's on this list. This list looks like they made the easy choices for the top 50 or so and then pulled the rest of them out of a hat. What a waste of time.
