I would never fault a kid for going to Stanford. However, my maroon glasses don't let me admit that EJ will have so many more doors opened to him by going to Stanford instead of A&M. Also, I believe that he probably thinks that he is NFL material and there is no better place to make that dream come true than the SEC.

I'm glad he went to Stanford over a non-A&M SEC school. I think he is a great back and look forward to watching him play.

Kinda sad, I would have loved to have him in Aggieland. That said any class that has Evans and Demas would be incredible.

I wish him the best. Of course we would have loved him at A&M, but I can't fault him for choosing an excellent education (and more playing time?)

My dad went to Stanford and I just found out today that my cousin's daughter just got into Stanford. I hope my son gets into Stanford in a couple of years.

I love A&M but it's a dream of mine for my kid to get into Stanford.

If EJ made a decision based on social media and the Internet, he has a long way to go in life. My gut is the OP is full of it.

Texas A&M is to football as Stanford is to engineering.

Oh you should have seen the blue stars MF Barnes got when catfishing the politics board.

Stanford is the only school who gets a pass on stealing our football recruits and I'm not pissed. Vanderbilt and Duke for basketball. Rice for baseball. Everyone else can burn hell!!

When your worry is what others say about you, you will always struggle in the future. Your focus should be the good Lord, family, your team, your coaches then fans. If that's what his decision was based on, then it was probably best he didn't end up at A&M.

Oh good Lord. You people make me laugh.

Heard it from a friend who, heard it from a friend who, heard it from another that the A&M locker rooms were lacking in the area of toiletries. Oh, and no sleep cells for nap time.

My opinion is, if you have an opportunity to go to Stanford, you go to Stanford. No dig at A&M, but attending Stanford, as a marquee figure, and on scholarship to boot is something that you shouldn't pass up.

It's stupid to think kids don't care. Even bad asses like EJ care. So does Zach Evans.

And I am sure the fact that California passed a law allowing college athletes to be able to make money off their likeness while in college had nothing to do with the decision.....
