I have believed since Slocum that unless the college head coach provides repeated clear evidence he can help get players both drafted and signed he can't recruit the best players.

So I hope the title is reflective of Jimbo's true recruiting message.

Yep, this team lives or dies with the Oline next year.
I basically agree, except that I'd also add the secondary to that sentiment.

I never said Ags lost BECAUSE of Mond

But you did attempting to churlishly suggest a "masked-man" fallacy by stating what appears to be the then statement only. Unless this is some way out there "reductio ad absurdum" & zoo conspiracy I totally missed out on where there is cause to blame Mond for Tech's losses?
Aggie Football is only played for 2 quarters, choose wisely.

Secondary will be fine if Blades can stay healthy. I think young guys with more speed will be taking over.

Who gives a s*** about pro football or whether Coach Fisher is a great coach to prepare our players for the pros. I want him to win COLLEGE football games at THIS school. That's all I care about. If he does that, our players will be drafted.
Because showing positive player development and success at putting players at the next level is what the vast majority of these guys want and it helps recruit top talent. Top talent wins games.

High school senior players who go on to play NCAA men's football: About one in 17, or 5.8 percent. -- NCAA senior players drafted by an NFL team: About one in 50, or 2.0 percent. -- High school senior players eventually drafted by an NFL team: About nine in 10,000, or 0.09 percent.
