This argument doesn't make sense in year 2 of a new regime that happens to be recruiting top 10 classes. I know it's convenient because of the past head coaches but so long as Jimbo recruits top 10 classes year after year, it is different from every past coach. If we're talking about being young in year 4 to excuse away a 7 win season then we're in trouble.
But it's year 2, the team lost loads of talent after year 1 and had one of the toughest schedules ever for year 2... Returns a ton of talent plus adds a ton more for year 3...futures are looking good so long as recruiting stays elite.
