With the Astros game last night, yes, we are depressed.

I'm not depressed at all. I love effin' football season, I love my Ags, and I'm sure as heck not going to be depressed that we're not undefeated (or meeting whatever unrealistic expectations so many jack wagons have) in Jimbo's SECOND year. I mean my gosh, we're playing with giants in the SEC West, we've got a program in rebuild, we're the number one money school in the country, and (currently) we have a winning record with a great coach and staff at the helm. The pot bangers and haters can go to their van down by the river and wallow in misery.

I can live the actual record.

-Clemson was in control by half, partial credit for continuing to fight
-Looked like crap for 1st 3 Qs vs Auburn
-Looked like crap vs Arkie
-Bama, see Clemson
-Needed a 70 yd fumble return and blocked FG to beat a mediocre OM team

I thought we would be good, then really good in '19. That is now questionable.

-The OL is not close and >50% struggles next year
-Mond is improved, but nowhere near the Heisman candidate we need him to be
-We lack a pass rush and will lose Madabuike to the draft
-We are thin at LB and may lose Buddy to the draft

I hope Jimbo allowed the team to see a bit of state against LSU. Watched the SEC replay and they are not a very bad team. Their main problem was 3rd down conversion, penalties.

LSU's defense is not up to usual standards. Still good but giving up a lot more yards than usual. Probably driven somewhat by their new offense.
